The lush and breezy waterfront atmosphere of The Easterly embraces the beauty of the simplistic and
laid-back Caribbean lifestyle. Tucked away in an oasis of palm trees and rich greenery, the restaurant
and bar take on a Bohemian-island vibe. The menu will be ocean-to-table focused, with ceviches, crudos,
octopus, shellfish & lobster, and whole grilled fish as mainstays. We also pride ourselves in our extensive
wood grilled steaks and chops. Locally grown produce and local flavors compliment the dishes, all cooked
over the kitchen’s wood-fired oven, adding distinct rustic flair to each plate. The Easterly offers one of the
Virgin Island’s most robust beverage programs with innovative craft cocktails, twists on Caribbean
favorites and an extensive list of craft beers and wine. The rustic island menu and outdoor locale promise
a social, vibrant and interactive dining experience in the heart of Red Hook on the East End of St.
Thomas.

The restaurant is all outside, which was not disclosed anywhere when I booked it. We got seated, I ordered pan seared tuna. They came back to tell me they couldn’t serve me the tuna because “it didn’t look good.” While I appreciate not being served bad fish, it also made me wonder why it wasn’t good and what else might be bad. My fiancé ordered the seafood tower. I ordered the grilled octopus and seafood risotto. The grilled octopus was way overcooked and burnt on the outside. My seafood risotto tasted like a salt shaker was dumped inside. My fiancé’s seafood tower came out and the shrimp were frozen, oysters tasted bad. He didn’t try anything else in it. They did take off the risotto. Overall terrible food, bad ambience, good service.

Food & drinks were amazing! But our server made the experience - he was so sweet & took extra care of me with my peanut & nut allergy. Incredible meal 10/10

One of the best experiences we’ve had in a long time. We shared a number of small plates … shrimp and polenta, short ribs, ribs … all exquisite and not heavy! We will return before heading back to New York!

The shrimp tostadas, crispy polenta, and short ribs are some of my favorites too! We're so glad you enjoyed a taste of the Caribbean before heading back to the Big Apple--please do stop in again for another meal. The ambient and decor is superb BUT the service was terrible. They took forever for everything. From greeting us with water to bring the food. We got dessert on the house as a gesture for how poor the service was but they also took forever to bring the dessert menu. Ironically the people who sat next to us, got everything in matter of minutes since they sat down. The seafood tower is great thou.

Get the seafood tower, hands down, best value and flavors on the menu. Meant for 4 or more. Two of us called it dinner.

The food overall was good but the service was abysmal. Took 20 minutes to get our first drink - restaurant was not at all busy. Waiter spilled some of wine out of carafe onto the table - no big deal except that the wine is expensive and there was no attempt to replace the spillage. Entrees took forever. Dessert still had not come after 30 minutes. - when we asked we were told the printer in the kitchen wasn't working. Even some small token as a comp would have gone a long way here! We will likely not return.

We have always loved Long Board so happy to see another brand of theirs on St Thomas. Great atmosphere and a break from the normal island vibe to an elevated island vibe. Food and service were all excellent.

Short rib, pork belly, and whole lobster were fantastic. The drinks left absolutely nothing to be desired 10/10. Service was average.

The whole lobster is one of our favorites too! We get them fresh from our local fishermen right from the beautiful Caribbean Sea and Atlantic Ocean surrounding the island. Our bar manager, Jonathan, prides himself on also using local, fresh ingredients in our cocktails--from the fruit purees to the shrub blends, everything is made in-house; glad to hear you really enjoyed!
