The lush and breezy waterfront atmosphere of The Easterly embraces the beauty of the simplistic and
laid-back Caribbean lifestyle. Tucked away in an oasis of palm trees and rich greenery, the restaurant
and bar take on a Bohemian-island vibe. The menu will be ocean-to-table focused, with ceviches, crudos,
octopus, shellfish & lobster, and whole grilled fish as mainstays. We also pride ourselves in our extensive
wood grilled steaks and chops. Locally grown produce and local flavors compliment the dishes, all cooked
over the kitchen’s wood-fired oven, adding distinct rustic flair to each plate. The Easterly offers one of the
Virgin Island’s most robust beverage programs with innovative craft cocktails, twists on Caribbean
favorites and an extensive list of craft beers and wine. The rustic island menu and outdoor locale promise
a social, vibrant and interactive dining experience in the heart of Red Hook on the East End of St.
Thomas.

Great food and a fantastic wine list, the waiting staff was very attentive and helpful. Everything set on a great atmosphere, what more could you need?

Imposed gratuity's and service charges can be a deal breaker. Good was great, waiter was good but condescending, maybe because he knew he’d get a tip no matter what. Forced gratuity and service fees for me means one and done no matter how good the meal was.

This place was recommended to us by the concierge at the Ritz. The ambience and decor were very nice. Our cocktails and wine were good as was the focaccia at the start of our meal. Our server was fun to talk to but the food was mediocre. After recommending a tuna special, it never arrived and even when addressed the response was nonchalant with minimal apology. I should note we were not charged for it. We also ordered a wagyu steak that was either not wagyu or the worst wagyu steak I’ve ever had. Huge disappointment and waste of money. The au gratin potatoes didn’t note the use of blue cheese. If a restaurant steers from the standard, it should make note of ingredients that may not be universally popular (again, we were not charged for this after assessing it with our server). Again, the ambience was very nice but just be aware the food quality is hit or miss.

It was by far our best dinner in St. Thomas. We really enjoyed our conversation with our waiter and the ambience and decor were perfect.

My husband and I dined here during our honeymoon. Our server, Ajani, was excellent! He even surprised us with a dessert at the end of our meal to celebrate our wedding 💒 we would definitely return if we visit St Thomas again. The food, service, ambience and special attention given exceeded our expectations.

My husband and I dined here recently and we were not disappointed. The oysters were outstanding, so sweet. My ahi tuna was perfect. We loved the ambience, decor and our service was impeccable. Our server, G’ Anni , not sure of spelling, was great and very attentive. Will be going back next January.

We were truly pampered here! By far this was our favorite dinner out while in st Thomas. Our visit was during their off season so the restaurant wasn’t crowded. I think we had at least 5 different people come to our table catering to our service and answering any questions . Our glasses were never empty and everything we orders had great flavor and texture. The kitchen was accommodating & modified our order as requested by subbing out and ingredient! We even had a special surprise at the end to celebrate our anniversary and it wasn’t just a dessert! We ordered the grilled snapper , a charred romaine salad and the flatbread appetizer. Also, their drink menu has some unique cocktails that were wonderful .This restaurant is a must visit during your time in St Thomas. You won’t be disappointed ! Be ready to shell out some cash though! (Similar to other equivalent restaurants)

The restaurant is all outside, which was not disclosed anywhere when I booked it. We got seated, I ordered pan seared tuna. They came back to tell me they couldn’t serve me the tuna because “it didn’t look good.” While I appreciate not being served bad fish, it also made me wonder why it wasn’t good and what else might be bad. My fiancé ordered the seafood tower. I ordered the grilled octopus and seafood risotto. The grilled octopus was way overcooked and burnt on the outside. My seafood risotto tasted like a salt shaker was dumped inside. My fiancé’s seafood tower came out and the shrimp were frozen, oysters tasted bad. He didn’t try anything else in it. They did take off the risotto. Overall terrible food, bad ambience, good service.
