Roast lamb dinners were very nice , as were desserts . Staff very friendly & attentive. Overall a very lovely nice lunchtime 👌 😋

Roast dinner was delicious (including the GF option). Service was amazing - really helpful staff. Would definitely go back.

Once we eventually got our meals after a long wait, bearing in mind the place was not even half full at 2pm, my wife's dinner came with the added extra of a long hair cooked in the gravy. Very yucky and surprisingly put my wife off. We were told by the lovely waitress that this happens quite a bit because the long haired chef sometimes does not wear a hat even when he is cooking, totally unacceptable in our eyes. He had dreadlocks for God's sake, what does he expect. Fool. The issue was brought up and rectified with a replacement meal which, at my request, we did not have to pay for. My belly pork was 'wet' and vile and the supposed crackling was like a ceramic tile and totally inedible. The beef did not look like like it was cut from a joint either, more like thin cut deli beef in gravy. Overall a bad experience. We came here because of the amazing reviews but our experience shows that these were possibly made up by someone who works there or indeed owns it?? Toilets were also horrible, skid marks in the pan etc etc etc. Had I have seen them before we tried to eat there we would have left. No pride at all. Needless to say we will not be returning and advising others we know to give it a swerve so our friends do not have a crap meal also!!! Really felt very sorry for our poor waitress, she looked mortified!!

Haven’t had roast lamb in a long time but was great to see it on Sundays menu. It was delicious alongside the roasties and veg.

Roast was good, and it was a fair price but I am Gluten free and was disappointed there was no GF yorkshire pud. However we enjoyed our meals and the pub itself.

Both meals were excellent Sea Bream & pork loin Service very good , I told staff my friend was going to be late stuck in traffic , no problem 😊
