Haven’t had roast lamb in a long time but was great to see it on Sundays menu. It was delicious alongside the roasties and veg.

Roast was good, and it was a fair price but I am Gluten free and was disappointed there was no GF yorkshire pud. However we enjoyed our meals and the pub itself.

Both meals were excellent Sea Bream & pork loin Service very good , I told staff my friend was going to be late stuck in traffic , no problem 😊

A warm reception from all staff on arrival . We enjoyed their delicious chicken wings to start and then both had roast pork with an enormous Yorkshire pudding. The vegetable sides were equally delicious especially the carrots . Would highly recommended for Sunday lunch . Staff service was outstanding, attentive and friendly.

Despite being the hottest day of the year the staff were very welcoming and made our visit really enjoyable. Our waitress was lovely and very helpful. The food was excellent and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening. The Eagle is our favourite pub and we have been going there for years and never disappointed.

On a hot August evening we enjoyed sitting out in the Eagle's beer garden. We ate and had beer - a good selection with alcohol and alcohol-free. Friendly and helpful staff as always.

Booked the Eagle online , could have been any pub , but it was convenient for us , easy parking at 2 PM . Table was set aside ready for us , Guinness good , meal delicious , but for any one with a large food capacity, small meals , for me and friend more than adequate . Overall I will return to the Eagle . Unsure if it is noisy when busy .

Nice venue, staff very accommodating and easy to park. A little quiet on the night but I’ve been on other occasions when business has been brisk. Good location on the edge of the city centre and a change from some of the other pubs in the area that have arrived late as dining venues. Would def recommend
