We start with free range, all-natural chicken. It’s brined, dredged, then dropped into custom-built fryers. It's got a little kick and is served with our house-made hot honey. But we don't stop there - Southern-style sides grace our menu, craft beer flows through our taps, and Blues music pumps through our speakers. At The Eagle, it's all about flying right, eating bird, and curing the Blues.

The food was delicious and there were many sides and salads to choose from. Our waitress was excellent and friendly. We will definitely be back!

Went on Father’s Day and everyone was so pleased with the taste of the food and the quantity. Oh and the drinks are very healthy pours. Definitely wanna come back . Still thinking about that chicken

As always, the food was delicious, generous & so fresh! Our server Ashanti (sp?) was incredibly attentive & kind. We simply loooove The Eagle!

Good food and service, near orchestra hall. Had a fried chicken BLT with fries, very good. My wife enjoyed her sandwich as well. Enjoyed the R&B music. A good spot, planning to stop by again.

This was the second time my boyfriend and I came to this restaurant and the food is amazing. My boyfriend is a fried chicken connoisseur and he loves their chicken…Lol

Wow!!! The food was amazing. Don't eat there without trying the sides. The spoon bread is fantastic. Grits, Mac and cheese, potatoes, hush puppies all extremely tasty 😋. Chicken is great and the grilled cheese is a treat. The service was top notch. Beer and drink selections are plentiful. I personally think this is the best restaurant of this kind in Detroit.

A very frustrating experience. We booked a reservation, and received a confirmation email and text. When we showed up to the restaurant, there was a sign on the door that said they had to close for the day. I wish they would have contacted us since we had a reservation and they had our information. We had to scramble to find somewhere else for dinner before our concert.
