The Durham Ox est une auberge familiale traditionnelle de village qui vous offre un service amical et efficace; le menu met en vedette le meilleur des produits locaux, et propose une large gamme de vins et de bières en fût. Vous découvrirez un pub traditionnel reconnu dont le décor est composé d’un carrelage d’époque, de poutres apparentes, de boiseries en chêne et de feux rougissant en hiver. En complément du restaurant principal, le Durham Ox offre plusieurs espaces pour les dîners privés pour célébrer toute occasion et peut accueillir entre 10-85 invités pour un dîner formel ou informel. Pour ceux qui souhaitent passer la nuit, ils pourront bénéficier de cinq chalets convertis dans un cadre paisible et charmant. Le Studio Suite situé au-dessus du pub et d’un cottage indépendant en libre-service dans le village : Ivy Cottage, qui peut accueillir jusqu'à 6 personnes.

We have a first floor Private Dining Suite with dining room and sitting room, which can be reserved exclusively for any occasion. Our Private Dining Suite seats up to 22 for a formal sit-down meal. My favourite lace to eat , food excellent could die for the Scollops and the grand Marnier Craps , first time we have had Sunday lunch but will go Again . I said if it was your final meal of your life it would be here I picked to have it thank you for excellent meal

As always a wonderful visit to the Durham Ox. Cosy atmosphere, attentive service and a superb menu. The food and wine were all excellent and I look forward to my next visit.

Always a great place to have lunch. Fabulous, friendly, helpful people on the team and the ambiance is everything you'd want from a traditional country inn. We had set menus and they were very good indeed, and there's pretty much everything on the main menu that anyone could possibly desire. It's a top quality place.

Excellent lunch, good service (although young lad did confuse turkey and pork). Wonderful touch with deserts for the birthdays we were celebrating - already booked for March next year.

The food was as good as ever, it is the start of Christmas bookings so the service was slightly slower than normal. A very enjoyable evening!

Great meal, celebrating their 25 year anniversary. A nice menu. good food, cooked well. Lovely cozy pub, which looked extra special with the Christmas decorations and lights!

2nd time to the Durham OX. It was so good the 1st time we brought friends with us this time. Service is great. Very attentive staff. Atmosphere is comfy and cozy. Food is fantastic. The destination is about a 40 minute drive for us but absolutely worth it. I highly recommend anyone going for a visit. I look forward to our next one.
