I visited the Dunmore for a new years lunch, it was my first time and it definitely won’t be my last. Everything was perfect from start to finish. They have a great choice on the lunch menu, I went for the sandwich of the week which was incredible. The staff were so friendly and went above and beyond, adding to our experience. A great addition to rathmines, thank you for the lovely afternoon!

Good service. Over rated/ food totally over priced. Affordable wine menu though. Very average.

Lovely restaurant and decor, very friendly and attentive service who are not over-the-top, with a good menu selection. The fish pie was the big hit in our group! Some of our party ate there two nights over our few days, a testament to the place!

The experience was amazing from the time we walked in.... the staff were lovely quick and prompt... the food was absolutely delicious..so was the wine recommendations... we had the crab claws and prawn pil pil for starters, which was juicy and the bread to soak the juices. For mains, we had 10oz dry aged delmonico medium rare paired with a merlot, and it was perfectly cooked... for dessert, we had the sticky toffee pudding... was a perfect meal for New years Day... I was treating my mum to the dinner before she left back to India... and the experience was just memorable... I sure will be back with friends for the cocktails as the menu looked amazing...

The restaurant bar is beautiful and the service, both writers and a lady who seated us were really polite & professional that's the only reason we left 20% as service charge. I ordered salmon special and the outer layer was cooked, however, it was wide piece and the inside was raw. Some may love this cooked that way I prefer mine cooked inside too. I asked politely if could be cooked and it was taken away exactly 10 mins later & the same dish was returned, the plate was roasting so I assumed they put whole lot in oven or under lights. The inside was smeared in oil but still undercooked. It was 30 euro and of course I have no issue paying for something edible to that standard money suggests but sadly couldn't eat. It came with a deep fried rice ball coated in breadcrumbs which seemed odd too. As we had movie I asked for this to be taken off the bill. Really dissapointing.

The Dunmore is perfect as a neighborhood restaurant or a destination night out. It caters for one and all, close enough to the city center if you want to go out out. Living locally its the ideal spot for a cosy meal or a girls lunch (I did both over the holidays). The room is a knock out, stunning art collection, comfortable and luxurious interior making you feel like home from home. The cocktails were a hit with all the girls, especially cosmo on the rocks and the cherry baby. The staff could not do enough for us and the vibe was fun, friendly and so accommodating. Not forgetting the food, I had the quince terrine (mix of apple and pear who knew) with goats cheese, light enough to leave room for the mains but really satisfying and tasty. The main event was a filet steak cooked rare to perfection on a BBQ grill with a side salad and chips with a Chimichurri sauce mouth watering. The table shared a number of deserts 12 of us had 6 deserts and a spoon for everyone the winner was the chocolate fondant. Looking forward to my next trip to the Dunmore!

As a family we love the Dunmore. The food and service are excellent and the room is beautiful with a great atmosphere and a fab art collection. It is also lovely to sit in the front area for a cocktail or coffee. All in all a superb restaurant in Rathmines.

This is a spectacular gastro pub. It was great to see both sides of the place busy tonight - the restaurant and the bar. The service and food are 5/5. The decor is classy with unique art work surrounding the restaurant and bar. One consequence of a busy restaurant is the noise level rises, however I would view that as a positive. We've been to the Dunmore several times and each time, the quality has been excellent.

Lovely neighborhood restaurant! 10/10 for the food……..the venison was amazing. Service was perfect, very attentive but not too much. I had the cherry baby cocktail which was very tasty. Will definitely be back

We recently dined at The Dunmore to celebrate my family’s 15th wedding anniversary, and I must say, the experience exceeded all expectations. There were eight of us, and from the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to ensure we were well looked after. Their attentiveness was exceptional, and they made the evening feel truly special. The food was outstanding. We were all impressed with how quickly the dishes arrived, and everything was cooked to perfection. The seafood pie was a standout, quickly becoming a favorite among our group, while the prawn pil pil starter was simply delicious. Every course delighted us, showcasing the skill and passion of the chefs. The bartenders were also fantastic, preparing cocktails with great precision and speed. My personal favorite was the Mango Rosso which was a refreshing and perfectly balanced drink that I will definitely be ordering again on our next visit. Overall, we were thoroughly impressed with the entire dining experience. The staff’s warmth and professionalism, combined with excellent food and drinks, made for an unforgettable evening. We will certainly be returning and highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience.
