I’ll be honest I was really disappointed in the food. Tasted fine but the actual size of the meal and the lack of it was shocking. Ordered a crab salad with baby potatoes. The salad was 1/2 a baby gem with a few onions that’s it. I had 5 quarters of baby potatoes and a very small amount of crab. £20 for what I would consider a starter isn’t great especially when you’re paying for the family to eat out. Did say anything as I know how difficult it is for the industry at the min but it was imply not good enough. 3 of us had the same and we all went straight home and had to get something to eat. Really poor.

So accommodating with tables and dogs! Would always go again. On holiday from Cambridge.

Excellent experience. Good food in beautiful surroundings and very helpful and obliging staff. We would have preferred a table in the main area where you can see over the salt marshes.

Great service, tasty food. Busy/vibey for a family Sunday lunch. Been meaning to come for literally decades, but always drive past to go somewhere else. Really recommend The Dun Cow - also a good selection of lower strength draft beers (Wherry/Pintail) which is great, and should be applauded! My only comment on is that the pub needs some new signage! The pub sign by the road is missing and the one attached to the wall is majorly faded!

Our food was excellent as every time we have been. We discovered this gem of a gastropub over a year ago and have been eating here every time we have been in Norfolk. There is a good choice of glutenfree options available and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The service is fast and despite England playing in the Euros the noise level was not raised. It is very cosy and the views over the Saltmarsh are beautiful. They also advised us this time on a very good dog walk that we all enjoyed. They ate very dog friendly. We will definitely return and recommend them highly.

Perfection - service was amazing, food was amazing, atmosphere and view was amazing, only thing lacking was the chicken burger, could have done with cheese and sauce but still great. Will definitely be coming back, thank you so much

We chose from a wide menu. Everything on menu was available. Service quick friendly and efficient, but we did not feel hurried.

Very good food in a lovely location on the North Norfolk Coast - great staff and ambience. Only minor niggle was that the samphire didn't seem to have been washed properly - I know it grows in the salt marshes, but it needs a really good rinse before cooking, otherwise it can be unpleasantly salty :( Everything else was fab, though!
