We have dined here on a few occasions & throughly enjoyed the food The staff are attentive & friendly There was a bigger table full next to us We saw the roast dinner they were served & it looked lovely & plentiful! We waited a long time between starter & main but I put that down to being busy! However the manager was so constantly attentive to the next table & when we were served our food what I got was a dried up pork chop & my daughter got 2 bits of roast beef that was so full of gristle you could barely cut it She ate it due to being so hungry Not what is usually served at this venue I tried to catch his attention but wasn’t able to In the end I went to the bar to speak to our waitress Who did ask if there was anything else I wanted but due to length of time for dinner I declined It’ll be a while before I will want to go back there

The food is always good here though we’ve never had the roast before and it didn’t disappoint it was delicious! Even managed dessert which was great!! One of the best things about this place though is the staff- they’re so friendly so accommodating and always have a smile! We took our puppy on his first pub visit and the staff were so kind! Thank you for making our first lunch out together so relaxing!

Always love The Duke, however our mains took too long and as a result we are now stuck on the closed M25

This is arguably the best roast in Kent, we have eaten hear many times, and still the best!

As usual, the food was excellent but our enjoyment was impacted by having been placed at a table next to a screaming child . We should never have been placed there and the staff moved us immediately on demand . The service was excellent and we will definitely eat at the Duke William again , hopefully in more calm surroundings !

Very friendly staff, lobster was fab as was the chocolate bread and butter pudding. Definitely worth a visit.

The most fabulous Sunday lunch. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meals. Lovely setting, friendly staff and great menu. The weather meant we wasn’t able to test out the play area but what a view out back! Looking forward to our next visit.
