The Duck & The Peach is a New American restaurant in D.C.’s Capitol Hill, inspired by the fresh flavors of California and the warmth of New England. Led by Executive Chef Katarina Petonito and Rammy's Pastry Chef of the Year Rochelle Cooper, our seasonal menu features signature dishes like rotisserie duck with watercress panzanella and elegant, handcrafted desserts.

    Food was outstanding and the setting inside the restaurant was beautiful. The only minor issues we had were our waiter was a bit arrogant and the cocktails were small.

    The service was the best I've experienced in the city in quite some time. Everyone was friendly. Our server was sincere, conversational, and knowledgeable. And of course, the food was delightful.

    The duck was terrific as were the bread, potato fritter, duck pate, beet salad and Brussels sprouts. The lamb was very good also (3 chops). That was more than ample for 4 people. Service was very attentive without being intrusive. The only disappointments were the desserts.

    We love the Duck and the Peach.. it's pricey but the food is really good and the duck is outstanding. We ordered one duck for four of us and a few sides and it was terrific. Highly recommend it. Service was good -- attentive and informative

    Great brunch great service! We had the chicken salad sandwich, pancakes, duck fat home fries, bacon and some lattes. Everything was really really good.

    We ordered the whole Duck, carrots, brussel sprouts and a bottle of wine. Service fabulous, duck was excellent which is why we went. Wine suggestion (french pinot) was a great match with our meal. Service was excellent discreet yet very responsive and all smiles. We'll go back.

    Two people for cocktails (1 each), wine (1 each) stuffed figs (warm), duck pâté with crusted bread delicious. Main meal included harissa carrots, mushroom risotto and half a chicken. Delicious. On staff sommelier, offered a Cab which was not on menu. Red selection is minimal, had to try 6 before we got a bottle not on menu. Be prepared for a large bill with automatic 20-22% gratuity added to the bill.
