The Drumming Snipe is a contemporary Pub Restaurant nestled in the village of Mayford, between Woking and Guildford. Offering a warm and relaxing atmosphere for you to enjoy the perfect mid week meal, a delicious Sunday roast or a Friday night catch up with a great selection of cask ales, wines and cocktails to choose from.
Guests are invited to dine in our quirky horse trailers, covered and heated terrace or feast in our exquisite dining room but most of all – to enjoy our great quality menu, simply prepared.

We had a good meal on a Sunday. Our service was unfortunately a bit haphazard from the start, slow with drinks, quite a few mistakes with food order that wasn’t written down etc.. it was very well handled and the manager was very apologetic and compensated accordingly - just a bit of a shame. Food was tasty and we felt it was overall actually quite good value.

Had lovely food and drinks, We went for the Sunday roast. Very relaxed atmosphere and service was excellent.

Great experience and super Sunday Lunch. The team at Drumming Snipe accommodated my last minute change in numbers and were so welcoming. Heartily recommend. One small bit of feedback is about the gluten free options - this wasn't clear on the menu and it would be very easy to make more of the menu GF without changing the options or the quality of the food (GF yorkshires and sausages)

Lovely people and place. Food was absolutely delicious, special mention for Shepherd’s Pie (offered on the fixed menu) as it was absolutely delicious, the meat was tender, seasoning, perfect and altogether a joy to savour-as mercifully, not overwhelming, the carrots accompanying, were also cooked to perfection and all was beautifully presented. Compliments to the chef, clearly taking great care with high quality ingredients and flair.

Sunday lunch at the Drumming snipe was exceptional,delicious food and very generous portions. Excellent service from Mia,would highly recommend.

Always a warm friendly welcome! This was a particularly busy Friday and there were new members of staff learning the ropes which inevitably made service a bit slower but… it was all fine and our meal was as ever beautifully cooked and presented! Happy hour on cocktails extended until 9pm is a fun idea! Thank you team drumming snipe… look forward to returning 🎉
