The Drumming Snipe is a contemporary Pub nestled in the village of Mayford, between Woking and Guildford. Offering a warm and relaxing atmosphere for you to enjoy the perfect mid week meal, a delicious Sunday roast or a Friday night catch up with a great selection of cask ales, wines and cocktails to choose from.
Guests are invited to dine in our quirky horse trailers, covered and heated terrace or feast in our exquisite dining room but most of all – to enjoy our great quality menu, simply prepared.

ANOTHER excellent experience dining at the Drumming Snipe with five friends. Service as always was exceptional as was the food accompanied with local draft beer and a lovely bottle of wine.

Unfortunately this was our second disappointing visit. I had fish and chips and mocktail. Sadly mocktail tasted like lime cordial only. Fish had strange off smell to it, and chips seemed prefrozen. Over all, we won't be rushing back. I would like to add that service was very good and all staff professional.

Always like going here but sadly the lunch menu was very poor for light bites. Just offering hard soda bread for a sandwich for example. The server listened to our thoughts & did his best to offer an alternative.

We enjoyed a fantastic Sunday roast with bottomless sides. The food was fantastic, really beautifully cooked and presented. Very attentive and friendly staff. Highly recommend!

Our first visit, most enjoyable, with excellent food but a bit pricey, especially desserts which were small portions and over priced. A very warm welcome and pleasant and attentive staff.

We ( 4 of us) had a great meal there on a Sunday. The food ( Sunday lunch) was very good. The staff were very helpful and sensibly inquisitive as to how we were getting on with the meal. It was busy but the service was still prompt. I think good value for money. In my experience a problem in most English restaurants but it was fine here. I don't think anyone minds paying for a good meal which this was. Will certainly return at some stage.

It is an awesome restaurant with excellent food and service from the entire team! My brother and his partner were visiting from Ireland so I really wanted a nice pub to gather the whole family together and this was the perfect place. We were a group of 8 and had a lovely meal together. I couldn't believe how good the Sunday roast was! Service with a smile, beautiful interior of the pub with ample space and a great atmosphere. Will definitely be returning. Spencer

The table we were given by the restaurant was in a noisy place next to a group dining noisily so we asked to be re-seated somewhere quieter. Unfortunately the service was slower because our table was in the bar area and not in the restaurant. My husband has hearing problems and noisy places are difficult for him as he suffers from tinnitus, so the request to be moved was not unreasonable. I don't think the young staff understood that. The food was good but the wine was not up to much.
