The Drumming Snipe is a contemporary Pub Restaurant nestled in the village of Mayford, between Woking and Guildford. Offering a warm and relaxing atmosphere for you to enjoy the perfect mid week meal, a delicious Sunday roast or a Friday night catch up with a great selection of cask ales, wines and cocktails to choose from.
Guests are invited to dine in our quirky horse trailers, covered and heated terrace or feast in our exquisite dining room but most of all – to enjoy our great quality menu, simply prepared.

Food outstanding bottomless potatoes veg n gravy but didn't need to order extra as portions great. Friendly and attentive staff even when busy

Food was amazing, service was great, staff were friendly and engaging, only draw back was that it was a little bit loud so hard to hear accross the table.

Lovely atmosphere, we went as a big family, and a great effort was put into making sure the children were looked after (high chairs, menus, crayons, their food came out first). Really attentive staff, great menu choices.

Always amazing service and great food. Incredible quality fish and always something for everyone on the menu. Great with kids and brilliant cocktails as well! We feel so lucky that we can walk here but would be worth a journey from anywhere

Sunday lunch was beautifully cooked, the cauliflower cheese was particularly tasty. Mia, our waitress, was attentive and efficient, and all the staff were welcoming and friendly. This is the second Brucan pub we have been to, they have both been excellent experiences.

Room facing onto the garden was cold & very noisy as it echoes. Whilst the staff were all very nice & friendly the service was very slow throughout. The Sunday roast was very good & sounds good value, but for older folks there is no need for bottomless sides as the main is always too much, so I feel we were paying for others who eat larger portions. OAP’s getting a raw deal again. Overall a nice meal, but room for improvement on service & cost.

Super delicious Sunday Roast Beef with horseradish, crispy roasties, giant Yorkshire pudding and vegetables. A lovely light sticky toffee pudding with clotted cream to follow. All delivered by Mia - thank you for excellent service.
