The Drumming Snipe is a contemporary Pub Restaurant nestled in the village of Mayford, between Woking and Guildford. Offering a warm and relaxing atmosphere for you to enjoy the perfect mid week meal, a delicious Sunday roast or a Friday night catch up with a great selection of cask ales, wines and cocktails to choose from.
Guests are invited to dine in our quirky horse trailers, covered and heated terrace or feast in our exquisite dining room but most of all – to enjoy our great quality menu, simply prepared.

Excellent service, the waiters were very attentive, food was excellent. Would highly recommend the drumming snipe.

Serving staff were mediocre at best. Food pretty poor - ordered the sour dough and presented wit a basket mainly filled with crackers and 2 slices of stale bread. Squid was good but medium rare steak was overcooked and the burger was very poor with cheap ingredients- a MaccyD is nicer So overall, don’t think we will be returning as nicer pub grub in the area Like the space and how they have renovated it. Tables nicely spaced

Always a great welcome! Always great when Domenika on duty! She and the team highly efficient kind fun and knowledgeable!! Great summer menu! Outstanding trout salad… beautiful presentation with the horseradish sauce at the bottom a gem lettuce leaf on top filled with summer beans! Just delicious!!! Thank you for a great alfresco summer soirée! Can’t wait to return!! ☀️🥂☀️

Great Sunday roast! Delicious Roast beef, and great Pork crackling! Excellent selection of vegetables and extra gravy! Sat outside and enjoyed that early evening sunshine... would prefer a non-smoking/vape policy at all restaurant tables though - the next door table were vaping then lit up right next to us, yuk!

Food is good, but super small portions. I had the Day boat fish & chips £17.50. Haddock was nice but had to eat when I got home which is a shame rly cos for the price Id expect something special. Staff were super nice and attentive, but as it was Mid afternoon there were few diners.

We booked for Sunday lunch 14/7/24. We all had roast dinners. Quick service brilliant food as ever!

Lovely venue and a nice menu. Food was good overall but pea soup was a bit overly minty and roast pork a tiny bit dry. Service was good but could have been slightly better, for example we had to ask for a dessert menu.

Most people were crammed into the room nearest the garden - which seemed to leave the rest of the building empty-ish. It felt like the staff wanted everyone near the kitchen. It did feel a bit claustrophobic.
