The Drumming Snipe is a contemporary Pub Restaurant nestled in the village of Mayford, between Woking and Guildford. Offering a warm and relaxing atmosphere for you to enjoy the perfect mid week meal, a delicious Sunday roast or a Friday night catch up with a great selection of cask ales, wines and cocktails to choose from.
Guests are invited to dine in our quirky horse trailers, covered and heated terrace or feast in our exquisite dining room but most of all – to enjoy our great quality menu, simply prepared.

Sunday lunch was beautifully cooked, the cauliflower cheese was particularly tasty. Mia, our waitress, was attentive and efficient, and all the staff were welcoming and friendly. This is the second Brucan pub we have been to, they have both been excellent experiences.

Room facing onto the garden was cold & very noisy as it echoes. Whilst the staff were all very nice & friendly the service was very slow throughout. The Sunday roast was very good & sounds good value, but for older folks there is no need for bottomless sides as the main is always too much, so I feel we were paying for others who eat larger portions. OAP’s getting a raw deal again. Overall a nice meal, but room for improvement on service & cost.

Super delicious Sunday Roast Beef with horseradish, crispy roasties, giant Yorkshire pudding and vegetables. A lovely light sticky toffee pudding with clotted cream to follow. All delivered by Mia - thank you for excellent service.

Excellent roast , love the refillable vegetables and roast potatoes ! Not diverting the extra gravy :-) Service was great was too .

As normal a super friendly welcome and excellent and timely service throughout our meal. The staff are always making sure everything is OK and nothing is too much trouble ! Food and drink were excellent and each course was served promptly. Good menu choice with only one personal request ........would like to see " lamb " on the Sunday roast menu. Will most certainly go back !
