The Down Pour was established in November 2019 with a dream of creating an eclectic atmosphere for the people of downtown Wilkes-Barre. A place designed for those who are willing to push the boundaries of the ordinary & escape. Ask for the umbrella room for a chance to dine under our take on a downpour.

We travel a little over an hour to visit this phenomenal restaurant! It is worth every minute to get there. The unique menu and sophisticated execution of the superior ingredients used to create not only refined delicious dishes but aesthetically pleasing! Such a wonderful atmosphere to enjoy a meal with friends and family. As always, the service was impeccable! The only negative thing I could say is, that we don’t live closer.

The down pour is my absolute favorite local restaurant! The vibes are immaculate, the service is top tier, and the food is soooo delicious. Their seasonal menus are always on point and their cocktails are *chefs kiss*. Go and see for yourself! You won’t be disappointed!

Not a bad option pre KIRBY CENTER dining. Good drinks and tasty food. Tuna Togarashi wrap needs to be cooked a little, not totally raw and a little salt in the pasta and sauce.

Sydney is an outstanding waitress. Very congenial, helpful. Food was excellent. Desert ( cinnamon crunch nobake cheesecake was so delicious. This was our first visit, and we would definitely come back.

During our visit I found several hairs in my wrap. The staff was alerted and remade the wrap. I took half home. When I went to have the other half I noticed another hair. The establishment offered no discount. This has put a damper on what could have been a great experience.

We always have a great time at The Down Pour. The food is delicious and so are the cocktails. The backroom is adorable and a great place for a date or special occasion. Service is always quick and pleasant. I would highly recommend The Down Pour to anyone!
