The Douglas | Kitchen and Cocktails, named after the county in which it resides, features elevated comfort food and a relaxed atmosphere. We serve creatively constructed dishes with locally sourced ingredients that honor the deep roots of Douglas County.
The heart of The Douglas | Kitchen and Cocktails, is found at the table, the people who gather around it and the food we bring to it. Sharing a table with our neighbors contain the moments that shape us and our communities. It’s a tradition that’s been honored here in Douglas County since 1861.

Our meals were delicious as always. We took a visiting friend there for dinner. The prices seem a bit high to me, but the food and service were excellent.

Best SERVICE EVER!! Taylor is the best server! Our group of six had a very lovely evening and dinner!! We heard that the chef was new but everything was delicious!! We will be back!

We stayed at The Parker Hotel and after a day of sightseeing decided to dine at the restaurant downstairs from our room. The ambiance is nice but the restaurant was empty except for a couple of other guests. We were served by a young man man in training who did a fairly good job. The limoncello martini was good as were our salads and entrees. Overall it was decent for a hotel restaurant. I would recommend if you are staying at the hotel.

We had a lovely evening. The food was delicious and had wonderful flavors. We were not rushed and the service was professional and very welcoming. So glad we have this restaurant to have for a casual or large party experience.

Ahh. I guess I was expecting fine dining. Not sure why I got that impression when making a reservation. This is a bar with good food.

I really wanted to like this place because of the atmosphere and close proximity to my house, but I should have been warned when I showed up at 5 o’clock on a Saturday and we were the only ones there. Our server was lovely and attentive, and our drinks were really good. We started off by ordering some appetizers, the crabcakes and the bruschetta, but we were wildly unimpressed. The description of the food does not fit what was delivered. We decided to cut our losses and get the check we were charged more than the menu stated price for one thing and when we brought it up to our server, she apologized but never fixed it. Unfortunately, we will not be returning.

All the food that we had was excellent!! We had the crab cakes, and beef Wellington for appetizers then the beef frites and pork chop for dinner. Everything had a unique flavor but the pork chop stood out to us the most!! It was tender and exceptional. Taylor our server was amazing as well and took great care of us !!!

As a party of 5 wanting to really get a taste for the place, we each ordered different entrees, several appetizers, salads, desserts and cocktails and everything was OUTSTANDING. Absolutely delicious. Atmosphere and service friendly and welcoming. Look forward to returning.

My wife & I had dinner at The Douglas on Wednesday, 04/03/2024. Our server, Taylor, was especially attentive and the food was tasty. We had the baked Boursin as an appetizer and shared a bison burger and the mussels.
