Located on the corner of 3rd Avenue South & Demonbreun, The Diner is the crown jewel of Downtown Nashville’s SoBro district. Our 6 story restaurant boasts six unique floors, each with gorgeous views of downtown. Our chef-driven menu features everything from traditional breakfast fare and lunch specialties, to mouth watering steaks, exquisite seafood, Southern home-style dishes, Italian classics, freshly shucked oysters, and sushi.
Each floor offers our guests a truly unique dining experience. Just a basic restaurant, very limited menu. Food arrived quickly however arrived at a warm temp. Food was moderately priced but service was very slow. I wouldn’t come back if I ever come to Nashville.

Excellent shrimp and grits and hot chicken and biscuits. Service was pleasant and was seated quickly. Great experience- would return!

Service was a little slow, but the place is cool with multiple stories. Breakfast menu was fairly limited but decent.

Great atmosphere and menu for 7 people looking for a casual, good meal with drinks and conversation. Service was excellent and quick. Food was great.

This was a very cool restaurant and a great experience. I have never been to a restaurant quite like this. A view wherever you sit, good food. Our waiter was awesome. A perfect place to go before the football game as it is right by the bridge.

The asparagus was improperly cooked so it was hard to cut. It was also drowned in the sauce / potatoes so difficult to find the spears.

Main reason to visit this restaurant was for oysters, and we were not disappointed. However, be aware that oysters are ONLY served on the 6th floor and we just lucked out that we could get a table on short notice. Shrimp and Grits entree was wonderful as well. GREAT views of downtown from the 6th floor with open windows.
