Located on the corner of 3rd Avenue South & Demonbreun, The Diner is the crown jewel of Downtown Nashville’s SoBro district. Our 6 story restaurant boasts six unique floors, each with gorgeous views of downtown. Our chef-driven menu features everything from traditional breakfast fare and lunch specialties, to mouth watering steaks, exquisite seafood, Southern home-style dishes, Italian classics, freshly shucked oysters, and sushi.
Each floor offers our guests a truly unique dining experience. For those looking for breakfast to go, stop by the 1st floor coffee shop to enjoy premium Lavazza coffee beverages and fresh baked pastries.     Average food for elevated price. It was ok. We sat on the 5th floor…next time I would go to 6th floor instead.

    This was our first time and we will absolutely be coming back. Our table on the fifth floor had a beautiful view. The four of us ordered different things and all our food was beautiful and delicious. Our server was so friendly and took great care of us, especially with there being two large groups monopolizing so much of the restaurant’s attention. All in all a wonderful experience.

    We have been to the diner twice. We found the reception staff to be rude and not very interactive. The food quality and ingredients seem to be fairly low-grade and the weight staff has terrible manners. There is no reason why servers should be reaching across people sitting at a table to serve another or ask a person to pass the plate down to another person at the table. Management needs to set a much higher level of expectation since it is apparent the importance of customer satisfaction, and the experience is not something conveyed to the staff of the restaurant.
