Kieran, Dallas, and the team welcome you to our beautiful pub. Recently refurbished, the Devonshire sits right in the heart of Hartington, the beautiful village at the northern end of Dovedale in the scenic and ever popular Derbyshire Peak District.

The Devonshire Arms is the perfect place to stop and relax whilst visiting the area for a tasty lunch, whether by yourself or with friends and family. We serve a delicious seasonal local menu with something for everyone. From the bar you’ll find a range of cask ales, craft beer, lager and cider alongside an extensive selection of wines, gins and soft drinks.
We do not take bookings for lunch Mon-Sat, we operate a walk in service only.

As we head into our favourite time of the year with family and friends full of cheer, we’re serving up our festive two course and three course menus from the 22nd November - 30th December (selected dates not applicable) Join us for a festive two course treat (26.95pp) or 3 course treat (30.95pp) between these dates, or make it extra special by joining one of our FESTIVE PARTY NIGHTS, dine on the festive menu with live music from our very own 'Mrs Claus'. Everything was perfect, food delicious and well presented. Good portion size. Limited options due to unexpected weather conditions but still catered for our different tastes and needs. Lovely pub atmosphere with open fire.

Excellent food, but unfortunately on our occasion visiting the service was pretty slow. Great location in a stunning village. Would definitely try again on a less busy evening.

What a fab dining experience. Staff were attentive and friendly, food was phenomenal we have now booked for boxing day. Looking forward to our next visit.

Lovely pub, very friendly and welcoming, to dogs and humans. I had the sea bass, which was lovely. Roasts also looked good too.

This pub is not in Buxton it is 9 miles out so took us 1 hour by bus to get there then a £50 taxi to get back. Need to change listing as listed as in Market place Buxton. Otherwise food great and staff very friendly

Very friendly welcome, excellent service and lovely food. Highly recommend the Homemade sticky toffee pudding and the Cookie dough dessert. Definitely be coming back next time we're in the area. ☺️

We booked a table for Sunday lunch at 3pm .The restaurant wasn't to full so it was very relaxing . We both chose pork belly which was beautiful. Generous portions which was beautifully cooked . We will be revisiting
