Kieran, Dallas, Logan and the team welcome you to our beautiful pub. Recently refurbished, the Devonshire sits right in the heart of Hartington, the beautiful village at the northern end of Dovedale in the scenic and ever popular Derbyshire Peak District.

The Devonshire Arms is the perfect place to stop and relax whilst visiting the area for a tasty lunch, whether by yourself or with friends and family. We serve a delicious seasonal local menu with something for everyone. From the bar you’ll find a range of cask ales, craft beer, lager and cider alongside an extensive selection of wines, gins and soft drinks.
Please note we only have the capacity to offer 1 large table per sitting (larger than 7), this is available to book online.
Sunday food service is currently 12-3pm.
We do not take bookings for lunch Mon-Sat, we operate a walk in service only.

Nice pub with friendly staff. All food and drink has to be ordered at the bar. Food was served hot and without a long wait but portion sizes small and disappointing in view of the cost.

Lovely food and very reasonable, barmaid very friendly and service very quick. Only complaint is the tables are quite small so once you’ve got your plates on there’s not a lot of room for drinks etc but that’s what you get with old pubs. Overall a lovely pub with great food, would definitely recommend

We had a lovely time at The Devonshire Arms. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. The food was so tasty and beautifully presented. Great value for money. Would definitely recommend

Ate here 2 nights whilst staying for a week in Hartington. Wouldn't describe it as gastro pub level but good, consistent pub grub. Hearty portions and well cooked. The crispy pork belly bites and chicken wings in the starters were excellent. Cosy inside and service good despite our first night there being a bank holiday weekend and the pub was very busy.

this was our first visit as we only moved to the area 6 months ago. We absolutely loved it and can see it becoming a firm favourite......wonderful setting, good food. excellent hosts and great beer! what's not to like!!

Whilst staying in Hartington we booked Sunday lunch. The turkey was amazing perfectly cooked with a variety of fresh vegetables and a huge Yorkshire pudding. Very friendly staff and a really nice pub and although very busy was not noisy. Would definitely recommend.
