Nestled lakeside on the glacier-fed Nita Lake, by the foot of Mt.Sproatt in Whistler. The Den Celebrates the wilderness around us. We create our seasonal dishes with local farm-to-table product, artisan meats + cheeses and our garden grown herbs + greens with a strong emphasis on plant-based alternatives.

Join us every Sunday for our brunch buffet from 7:30am-2pm in The Den.

Victoria our server made the the nite! It was a bit hectic because Netflix was filming a movie and there was a limited bar situation and wine selection. Victoria was so wonderful and on it and even comped us a glass of wine for all the hassle!

This is a "must try." They have an outstanding menu. The food was excellent. The service exceeded expectations. The location is great. Be sure to try their fresh baked rolls and the octopus appetizer. Highly recommend.

The only reason I give ONE star instead of straight ZEROES is because they must have realized they had such terrible service, they comped our “meal” (bites is more accurate) and did not charge us the posted $49/person for brunch. We had a 10 am reservation and were in our car, driving away, by 10:21 am. TERRIBLE! We arrived 10 minutes before our reservation. Kept getting told, let me see if there is a server available…though the host said that to EVERYONE who showed up. Meanwhile, 4 waitresses just stood around talking. Got sat at a table with no view…though there were only 4 other people in the entire restaurant, most sat on the patio. No one EVER came by with even water. Finally, I asked, “Do we help ourselves?” And no one ever came back. My husband asked if we could get coffee. A gal brought ONE cup AFTER we had tasted the ICE COLD eggs Benny and pushed them aside…English muffin so cold and stale, a knife wouldn’t cut it! A. KNIFE. At that point we refused the coffee, asked for a bill. She left, came back, and said we didn’t need to pay. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR BUDINESS.

Visiting from out of town for a 50th birthday celebration. Booked a breakfast for 5 at 0930. Not staying at the lodge. Service was… well not great. Waitress kept disappearing. Ordered 3 coffees 1 mimosa and 1 ceaser. Ceaser wasn’t brought to the table until meal was served. So about a 20-30 minute wait. Waitress appeared sidetracked or distracted and seemed to forget our table existed at times. Food was warm not hot and restaurant was not busy at this time. About 40% capacity. The inside and decor is beautiful and has a very neat rustic/modern/quirky fun atmosphere. Just unfortunate about service.

Great location. High end food well presented and flavorful. Drinks were inventive and well prepared. Unfortunately the night we came there was a wasp invasion and we could not eat outside as planned. The only part of the menu that needs serious work is the dessert. Uninspired, stale desserts that were presented in a very sloppy way.

Beautiful setting and good food. Our server was very friendly and the front desk staff went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable ( warm, blanket…)

I booked the Den as a belated birthday gift for my fiance who loves the outdoors and a great view and dining on their patio gives you the best of those experiences. The food was absolutely delectable with the cocktails being perfect. We enjoyed our service and ambiance which I'm sure will mean we'll make celebrating dinners at the Den tradition for us now.

It was fine, nothing special but not bad. Easy if you are staying in the hotel. Nice room and nice patio.
