The year was 1943, and Jim and Alice Wimmer decided to take a big risk, buying a small existing roadside restaurant known for its char-broiled steaks. How fitting that in 2018, the restaurant's 75th anniversary year, the third generation of Wimmers, Amy Wimmer, takes the helm from her father Jeff and his wife Jane, bringing her own adventurous spirit to the Del-Bar, the same kind of spirit she so admired in her grandparents.                                                     My wife and I both had a steak. It was cooked to perfection. The service was excellent. I can’t wait to go back.

                                                    One of my favorites! Reservations highly recommended. Great happy hour but get there early and you still may not get a seat.

                                                    Don't expect to hold an intimate conversation, as you can barely hear the person sitting next to you. One of the loudest restaurants I've ever dined at. Long pauses between courses and seeing our waiter, although staff was all over and could easily be hailed. I don't believe the food was equivalent to the price.

                                                    I was celebrating my birthday and my wife and I decided to go to Wisconsin Dells for a round of golf and dinner. We've dined at the Del-Bar a number of times and the food has always been very good. Once again the restaurant did not disappoint us. After being seated our server arrived at the table very quickly to answer any questions we may have and to take our order. My wife decided on Halibut and I ordered a filet. When the meals were delivered we were very pleased with both the quality and preparation. My wife remarked how flaky her Halibut was and my filet was prepared exactly the way I ordered it. Charlee, our server, provided great service throughout the meal and we were very happy with our decision to dine there. We will certainly patronize the Del-Bar again the next time we're in Wisconsin Dells.

                                                    Wonderfull Birthday dinner. Staff was very personable and helpful, Food was fantastic with steak done to perfection. Atmosphere and drinks were just what you would expect for a supperclub and were top notch. Will definitely return.

                                                    Our experience was our first time being at the Del Bar, every staff member we encountered was friendly and greeted us and asked if had ever been there before to make sure we received and knew what to expect for virgin Dinners. Food was fantastic and love that we could make reservations! Highly recommend!

                                                    Wonderful experience and Del Bar was outstanding once again. Staff helped me move a reservation for 8 back a few hours to accommodate. Food and service was amazing. Only issue I had was I believe you should have the $$$ amount next to your whisky pours. Ordered what I thought was a lower end whisky ($40 bottle retail) was charged $20 for what I believed to be a 1 oz pour. Other than that experience was great and I look forward to coming back.

                                                    A real gem in the Wisconsin Dells area. Very good all around food, service and atmosphere .A little pricy if your bringing your family but for an adult night out or ladies or guys weekend ,its perfect

                                                    Our first trip served up a wonderful birthday dining experience. It was perfection from our knowledgeable waitress, to the spinach salad and prime rib, and ending with a birthday dessert complete with a candle. Making an online reservation with Open Table was easy and took the worry out of dining. Highly Recommend!
