The year was 1943, and Jim and Alice Wimmer decided to take a big risk, buying a small existing roadside restaurant known for its char-broiled steaks. How fitting that in 2018, the restaurant's 75th anniversary year, the third generation of Wimmers, Amy Wimmer, takes the helm from her father Jeff and his wife Jane, bringing her own adventurous spirit to the Del-Bar, the same kind of spirit she so admired in her grandparents.                                                     Wonderfull Birthday dinner. Staff was very personable and helpful, Food was fantastic with steak done to perfection. Atmosphere and drinks were just what you would expect for a supperclub and were top notch. Will definitely return.

                                                    Our experience was our first time being at the Del Bar, every staff member we encountered was friendly and greeted us and asked if had ever been there before to make sure we received and knew what to expect for virgin Dinners. Food was fantastic and love that we could make reservations! Highly recommend!

                                                    Wonderful experience and Del Bar was outstanding once again. Staff helped me move a reservation for 8 back a few hours to accommodate. Food and service was amazing. Only issue I had was I believe you should have the $$$ amount next to your whisky pours. Ordered what I thought was a lower end whisky ($40 bottle retail) was charged $20 for what I believed to be a 1 oz pour. Other than that experience was great and I look forward to coming back.

                                                    A real gem in the Wisconsin Dells area. Very good all around food, service and atmosphere .A little pricy if your bringing your family but for an adult night out or ladies or guys weekend ,its perfect

                                                    Our first trip served up a wonderful birthday dining experience. It was perfection from our knowledgeable waitress, to the spinach salad and prime rib, and ending with a birthday dessert complete with a candle. Making an online reservation with Open Table was easy and took the worry out of dining. Highly Recommend!

                                                    A true supper club experience. We arrived about 45 minutes before our reservation time and enjoyed expertly crafted cocktails at the upper bar. The hostess arrived on time to seat us at a very nice table in the dining room where we enjoyed the stuffed mushroom appetizer and perfectly prepared steaks. Both the wedge salad and house salad were great. Wonderful service! A great night out!

                                                    We visit the Del Bar about once a week from May through September as we have for about 30 years. Happy hour with appetizers is the best in town and all dining operations are to perfection. Never a bad experience.
