Just OK … the pasta was al dente and the Brick Pressed chicken dish were 2 legs (was expecting a breast), the Italian Chop Salad claimed to have provolone but I only saw a few and I mean a few, shreds of it. The mushroom bisque was superb , however and the service was excellent . There were no desert offerings , our server informed us . Overall , disappointing . Won’t return .

This is a great place to eat downtown. The restaurant is beautiful and the food outstanding. I recommend the scallops...this was my second time to order them. Service is always top notch too.

The Davidson is a great alternative to Rubys and Morton’s right near by - as well as via vite and McCormick and Schmick’s. Great food and atmosphere. One request tho is to have gluten free bread to go with the eggplant or bread and butter app as well as maybe other gluten free options. Now- if fountain square would bring back some retail - it would be an amazing destination with The Davidson as one of the anchors!

We reallly love The Davidson. This was our second time dining here and everything is top notch. The atmosphere is great, warm and inviting but also trendy and fun . Food and service does not dissapoint. We've had two really outstanding meals and cocktails are super yummy as well. We highly recommend The Davidson and we will be back!

This was our first time trying The Davidson. It was the either the first or second night of their first Restaurant Week - there was a also a home Bengals game so the restaurant was quite full. Our server was Makayla and she was a sweetheart. Service was slow but that wasn't her fault. We were seated right by the food service window and it was obvious how busy they were and the kitchen and bar were both backed up. Plus, this was their first Restaurant Week so I'm sure that just added to the chaos. That being said, we did order off the RW menu. We ordered the arancini, which was REALLY good - my only slight gripe would be there isn't enough of the red sauce. Regardless, we would order them again. My husband and I each got one side item (I got the fries, he got the haricot vert.) Both were great. The beans were quite crispy but we like them that way. My entree was scallops, my husband ordered the Vodka Rigatoni. His was REALLY good. The pasta was al dente, the vodka sauce was fresh and the sausage in the sauce wasn't overpowering. My scallops were not hot, barely warm, but, given how insanely busy there were, I didn't see it fit to complain. They tasted great anyway! There is a "crouton" that is served on top of the green beans but under the scallops. There is also a very rich brown butter sauce and there's a LOT of it. Another reviewer suggested asking for that butter sauce to be served on the side because there is so much - I second this. I couldn't eat the crouton because it was so soaked in the butter; and then the butter was on the scallops and on the bottom of the bowl, etc. If you are sensitive to rich foods/sauces, then you'll definitely want to ask for the butter on the side. The one big complaint we have is the noise level - the music is really loud and I think people were talking louder than usual in order to hear each other over the music. That's the only thing that really was annoying. We'll definitely dine here again!

A great meal. We all had the steak frites and it was delicious. Terrific service and a very kind gesture for our birthday guest with a glass of fizz each in place of dessert (they don’t have dessert on the menu) The one thing I would like to see improve is the bread basket portion. It was small for 4 of us and not in proportion with the huge amount of fancy butters provided.

Phenomenal! We had just gotten engaged and the service was impeccable. Scallops were delicious. I highly recommend them!
