The Bar Food menu from 4PM until 6PM is absolutely AMAZING! It’s worth rearranging your day to be there at that time! Valet parking.

Great place for brunch ! The food was delicious with large portions . Mimosa tray which included a bottle of champagne and a talented saxophone player added to the overall ambiance. We will be back !

Doug provided great service. He is well versed on the menu. Food was delicious, especially the Pork belly app, Shrimp and Grits. Super site ambiance.

All entries and apps were delicious. Service was excellent. Bread pudding is a MUST!

We had a reservation for 7pm at a high top table. The table wasn't ready at 6:55, so we walked around the lobby. This historic hotel is pretty cool. Came back at 7:05, the host didn't remember me (odd right?), the high top table was still dirty. After a few minutes more waiting they put us at a small table crammed right behind another table. He said we couldn't have the high top due to a leak in the window near it - ok?? I asked not to be at the table crammed into the back of another table, that we would deal with the leak but he said he couldn't sit us there. So I asked for another small table near a post which was better than practically joining another table. But, that one wasn't cleared yet, so we had to wait another 5 minutes for that to be done, which was insane (it had a napkin and a some crumbs on it). Sat down at 7:20ish, with no menu. Finally got the menu, everything is expensive and not a lot of choices, but it took the waiter another 10 minutes to come and tell us he would bring us water. By 7:35 we decided to leave. The Host was nowhere to be found, so we just left. There were 4 people on the wait staff working. It was busy, but there were several empty tables and its not a huge place. My observation from the absent minded, disappearing Host and the waiters running around looking flustered, is that this place is horribly mismanaged. I would go back to sit at the bar for a drink but there are too many other places to try in Tampa to deal with this mismanaged mess. I am sad, because it is a really cool place! I hope they can fix this.

I ordered the wedge salad for appetizer and it was huge. Excellent quality. My friend ordered the Cesear Salad and same. For my entree I had the short rib and my friend had the shrimp and grits. Both were excellent. Servers were attentive and very nice. A little bit of a lag between the salads and the entrees, but overall was an excellent dining experience.

Service was terrible. Very slow and understaffed. Took forever to get drinks. Cancelled our second drink order because of how long it took. The person who ordered a Diet Coke was the last to get their drink when everyone else ordered cocktails.

The Dan at Hotel Flor is a gem! We had the Bavette steak, red snapper and plantain bread pudding. All delicious, beautifully prepared, with friendly, excellent service. Don’t let the scaffolding stop you!

I don’t usually write reviews but I was really disappointed in the service and food. I got the short rib and it cut almost like a steak instead of falling apart. My S/O got a burger and said it was awful. Restaurant was pretty empty and service was slow. Ambiance is cool but they need some help
