The Cutwater on Payette Lake is a place for friends and families to connect and celebrate life with carefully crafted food and drinks. This is a restaurant unlike any other in McCall. Guests of all ages will enjoy indoor/outdoor seating (seasonal), a vibrant 2,000-gallon saltwater fish tank, analog game room and simply delicious fare on the shores of Payette Lake. The Cutwater on Payette Lake offers year-round breakfast, lunch and dinner seven days a week.

Lodge Burger is big and delicious. Sweet Potatoe fries can't be beat.

The ambiance sitting outside next to the water on a beautiful day is unmatched. The food, however, is very mediocre. Fries were soggy & cold, omelette was rubbery, avocado toast was freezing cold and unappetizing. I probably wont ever go back for food. Also the servers are very sweet but hardly speak English and there is a lot of mis-communication about menu and gluten free options.

The food was delicious. Celebrated 2 Birthday's and our waiter so so nice and attentive. Love eating on the Patio.

Great restaurant! We had dinner here for our anniversary and we really enjoyed it. The steak frites are the best, veal was also really good. Our server was very attentive and she surprised us with a happy anniversary cupcake. The view of Payette Lake was also wonderful!

I stood at the bar for over 10 minutes trying to get a drink. The bartenders literally act like you don’t exist. I ended up leaving the bar and ordered drinks at our table. A total of 40 minutes had passed before getting our drinks. We ordered an appetizer and steak (so overpriced) I found a hair in the mashed potatoes so sent back the steak dinner. We have eaten here many times, but this summer they have gone down hill.

The portions were generous, complimentary valet was a very nice touch and the view was lovely. Our server was really soft spoken and challenging to hear and didn’t get a couple things right with our party of 4. Meals were underwhelming. We mentioned we were celebrating our 48th anniversary but it was not acknowledged. A bit of a let down after the initial great impression
