The staff and our waitress were awesome! They sat us, went over the menu iitems and options very well to include some great recommendations. The food was amazing. I had the Ribeye and my wife had the oysters. We also had two orders of the Charred Ceasarʻs salads. The entire experience was perfect! We will definitely be going back.

Been to Cutlery five times in the past two months and tried most of the menu. Everything has been excellent so far, large portions, tasty preparations, friendly service. Took others each time and they all loved this place. Best neighborhood restaurant in Kaimuki. True hidden gem.

Very pleasant dinner at The Cutlery on Sat. evening. I ordered the smoked prime rib ahead of time, (necessary on weekends), and it tasted superb. I love it rare. My only criticism though, is that the cow should’ve visited a lipo-suction clinic before butchering. - it came with a bit too much fat attached. My Bloody Mary was pretty tasty, but an extra $3 was attached for my requested splash of Worcestershire & tobasco. (Oh, please!) The tossed salad was excellent with/ citrus vinaigrette. The side dishes of Brussel sprouts and fingerling potatoes were good as well. My wife’s pasta with blue crab & lobster was tasty, but I would recommend a touch of grated Parmesan cheese, and next time, don’t over-cook the linguine. It should be “aldente “. I was given a complimentary scoop of haupia ice cream for a birthday dessert treat. Very nice! We will return!

Excellent cuisine, attentive service. Super tender clams in rich buttery sauce, 2” thick pork chop smothered in morel mushroom sauce (yes, whole morels). Will be back soon.

I would not recommend outside seating. Food and the service was fantastic but the street noise /homeless people chatter and heat/humidity of the day made dining uncomfortable.

This was the first time dining at The Cutlery - we were so happy to be able to bring our dog, Shadow, with us to dinner. Our server, Brandi, was outstanding and very professional. The food was outstanding and we are already talking about returning now that Shadow can dine with us. The cherry on top - Shadow had a complimentary steak plate - HOW AWESOME IS THAT!!!
