Housed in the restored 19th century Victoria Quarter, The Cut & Craft Leeds is a beautiful restaurant with historic features and a show-stopping central cocktail bar.

Open every day serving lunch and dinner, with brunch and roasts on the weekend, you can expect elegant interiors in a building rich with character and a lively, vibrant atmosphere.

Named 'Restaurant of the Year' at the Yorkshire National Business Hero Awards in 2023 and 2024, The Cut & Craft combines contemporary steak and seafood dishes with a premium list of locally-crafted drinks.

We have an extensive food menu all made freshly on site including our signature flat iron steak, prepared by our very own in-house butcher.

We also regularly host brunches and special events with brands like Whispering Angel, Moët & Chandon, Charlotte Tilbury, NARS and more.

Lovely food apart from the rest Gluten Free Bruschetta, which was tasteless. Everything else we ate was delicious. Beautiful surroundings but we were seated opposite the kitchen, which I never like, and this area clearly seemed to be the meeting place for staff to gossip. None of the negatives would stop me from returning though - thoroughly recommend.

We had been to the Cut and Craft before and had a wonderful experience. However, the most recent experience could not have been more different. We sat down at 07:20 and didn't order drinks until 07:45. Then starters were ordered but did not arrive for well over an hour. Our table of 7 people was crammed around a small table in the back that was massively uncomfortable and dark. Starters took around 45 mins to arrive and the mains after that took well over an hour. My main issue was the atmosphere. When I go to such a classy establishment, I do not expect the staff to be placing bright, blue LED, club lighting around the restaurant, nor do I expect club drum and bass to be getting blared at full volume whilst I'm trying to have a civilised family meal!! We asked multiple staff members what the delay was and how long it would be and were told twice it would be out shortly and that the delay was due to large tables upstairs. I went upstairs and there were no large tables in?! Overall, the Evening was ruined which really upset me as it was my husband's birthday. I came out of the restaurant angry and suffering with migraine due to the horrible music and lighting. I am really not happy and would like the restaurant to get in touch with me further.

We were late getting our table booked for 6 main course arrived at 7.40 and as soon as we had finished told need our table in 10 minutes Very poor management of tables felt extremely rushed especially when we had waited so long for our food suggest there is some further capacity planning going forward

The food was cold when we received it. However the lady was excellent as she quickly came over, apologised and within about 10 minute, it came back piping hot. But this is the second time we’ve received cold food but they do resolve it quickly.

We had a table booked and we had to wait 20 minutes once we was seated we waited another 20 minutes for our order to be taken. The food was lovely but the service was poor compared to other times when we have visited and when you spend £130 you would expect it to be better.

We arrived at the restaurant at 8:30 as per our reservation and we received a warm welcome. The ambience and decor of the restaurant is absolutely stunning! The service was quite slow as our drinks order wasn’t taken until 9:10 and I requested water for the table. This didn’t come and I had to request it for the second time and the water came already poured in our glasses with the waiter passing them around while holding the lip of the glasses. This was very unusual as I’m used to having a carafe brought to the table with empty glasses and we pour out the water ourselves. Our food didn’t come until 10:10 and I found this very disappointing as this was nearly 2 hours after we had arrived. Since credit card details are entered for bookings of 7+ people, it might be worth having their food pre-ordered ahead of the day to avoid any delays. The music was also quite loud that we had to shout to each other. Overall, I would go back again but in a smaller group.

Went for a birthday meal, just two of us. Lovely service from the start, waiters and bar staff all very friendly. Food was delicious and wine even better.
