Housed in the restored 19th century Victoria Quarter, The Cut & Craft Leeds is a beautiful restaurant with historic features and a show-stopping central cocktail bar.

Open every day serving lunch and dinner, with brunch and roasts on the weekend, you can expect elegant interiors in a building rich with character and a lively, vibrant atmosphere.

Named 'Restaurant of the Year' at the Yorkshire National Business Hero Awards in 2023 and 2024, The Cut & Craft combines contemporary steak and seafood dishes with a premium list of locally-crafted drinks.

We have an extensive food menu all made freshly on site including our signature flat iron steak, prepared by our very own in-house butcher.

We also regularly host brunches and special events with brands like Whispering Angel, Moët & Chandon, Charlotte Tilbury, NARS and more.

    We booked in advance for a Sunday, upon arrival we were greeted and the lady stated they had run out of Sunday lunch which was disappointing as this what we had booked for. She did however explain you can try make a Sunday lunch with other items on the menu but there was no chicken or beef option to do this. We were also made aware of arrival we would need to wait for our table and we went to the bar to get a drink to wait for this. When seated we sat at. Table that had been visible from the moment we walked in. I feel like it must have been busy but it felt quite chaotic on arrival and as if no one in front of house really knew what was happening. However, once seated we had a really good waitress and enjoyed our food and cocktails. I would recommend, but please can this be fed back to front of house, as it’s not the best first impression. I would also recommend you have a booking option for Sunday lunch to avoid this happening too other customers.

Thank you for sharing your honest 3* review, we are sorry to hear your visit missed the mark on this occasion due to both our Sunday Roast dish been unavailable and misscommuniation betweeen our Front of house team. Our Sunday Roast dishes are subject to availability and on the occasion we run out we always try our best to offer alternative dishes to compensate for this. I am sorry to hear you waited for your table although it had been ready the whole time. However, it is great to hear that your waiter gave such great service along with ejoying some delicious food and cocktails. I will certainly pass this feedback onto our Reception team and the rest of Management and we hope this will not stop you from dining with us again.     It was disappointing that on a Sunday they were not able to offer their Sunday lunch menu.

    Style over substance. Beautiful surroundings, we arrived early and thought we could have a drink at the bar first but were shown straight to our table. Food arrived approx 30seconds after drinks. No one checked in with us or asked if food was ok, or if we wanted more drinks. Food was cold (although on hot stones, which weren’t hot) gravy lukewarm, yorkshire puddings not homemade and cold. Was asked preference for beef, asked for medium, came well done. Chicken extremely dry. I tried to get eye contact with a member of staff but nobody looked our way. Lack of cocktails available. Disliked sitting in armchairs as difficult to eat in. We ate upstairs, no atmosphere what so ever. Had booked for a romantic meal. We were in and out in 45 minutes. Says it all.
