The Curlew in Bodiam, a former 17th century Coaching Inn has reopened it's doors as a gastro pub in September 2023. Serving a variety of British and european classics with locally sourced produce. Situated right on the way to the historical Bodiam Castle it's the perfect stop for lunch, dinner or a drink in the garden.

Simply perfect evening with great food and wine. My husband had the mussels which he said were the best he’s ever had and I had the fish which was flaky and absolutely delicious. Highly recommended this place for a great meal and value for money

Very pleasant and helpful waitress. Food was excellent all round with the starter portions being just right rather than huge and over the top.Steak was excellent.

Beautifully prepared food, lovely informative staff. Our first visit to the curlew and we were delighted, and will return. The restaurant is so confident in its food that from where we were seated you could see the chefs preparing the food. We started with the fishcake, followed by the Rossini and followed by a delicious ginger sticky toffee pudding. Highly recommended

Our first time here since the new owners took over and we were delighted with the experience. The food was delicious and good selection of choices for lunch. Would def recommend
