We are so happy to have experienced The Crumb on its opening weekend here in Bernal Heights.
The food was delicious and the service from our server Paul was outstanding. We tried a bunch of different things and they all were great. A few standouts that I will be dreaming about until our next visit were the butternut squash soup, the fish tacos, the beet and arugula salad, and the soba noodles. The fish tacos were battered and served with the most delicious cabbage and onions and white sauce (which we asked for on the side).
Others in our party also tried the deviled eggs and sweet potato bites, which I didn't personally try, but which they said were also delicious.
Something we particularly appreciated was Paul's patience with us in answering a million questions, as one person in our party had severe food allergies. Paul patiently went through all of the menu items and we found many things that she could eat, either with a few modifications or as is.
We ordered "Milk In Cookies" for desert and though it was a little challenging to share, it was also delicious.
For beverages, we had wine, beer, and a low-alcohol cocktail that was surprisingly awesome.
All of this, and the prices were totally reasonable!
We highly recommend checking out The Crumb in Bernal Heights, and we can't wait until our next visit.
