The Crown is a majestic pub nestled in the busy borough of Bromley on the outskirts of South London.

Please note we don't reserve outside tables.

With distinctive, double height ceilings and a rustic charm through the interiors, there are plenty of cosy or lively spots to sit back and enjoy with great company.

    Took my Dad got a bit of lunch for he’s 80th. Food wasn’t great. It was al rather overcooked and dry even the burgers! No cutlery was given so was left waiting then got up and asked for some. Music was too loud to have a conversation, it was rather cold in the pub. Over priced for what you got as I’ve eaten in better Harvesters!! Won’t be returning or recommending.

    We’ve recently moved to Sundridge Park and we’re really excited to try our local pub. We booked a table for 3 for 7pm on Friday 17th May and were really disappointed by the food and service. Our starters took 40 minutes to arrive and then the mains took over an hour to arrive. When the food arrived the fish was undercooked and cold, whilst the pie and vegetable tart tasted like it had been sat waiting to be served under a heat lamp for a while. A waitress then came over to ask if everything was ok and when we complained politely she seemed shocked and just said “oh” and walked off. We were so disappointed - I love a good local pub and have been a regular in one everywhere I’ve lived previous to this, but it would take a lot for me to return here after this experience.

    A decent roast. Drinks a bit pricey and be aware it's card only. Beautiful pub and friendly staff. Good garden.

    We had to wait 1hour 15 mins for main courses to arrive. Not acceptable.

    Nice interiors, however, it felt cold inside and we didn’t want to take our coats of. Service was slow and dishes were missing condiments. We waited a long time for our mains. It was not a busy evening at all so this let it down for us. The food did taste however. Would probably try somewhere else next time.

    A really enjoyable lunch all round, friendly, efficient service, food was great, the atmosphere in the pub all very enjoyable. Very small hiccup was my table was too close to an entrance that kept opening, so got the occasional cold blast! But happy with my experience.

    Unfortunately we were unable to eat at The Crown on this occasion. We are regulars and, although we have experienced some poor service previously, overall we like the place. However, on this occasion we booked for Sunday lunch and had a really poor experience. I included that we required a seat for our 7 month year old baby. They tried to place us on a table under the television surrounded by people standing and drinking. I asked if we could move to the quieter restaurant area, but despite there being two tables unoccupied, they would only move us to a table that was still among all the people standing. It's not really a situation that you want for eating a meal and in addition, it was far too noisy for a baby. When I explained that I had booked for Sunday lunch with a baby and thought we would get a better table I was simply dismissed. It's a good place overall but it needs to do a better job of separating the restaurant from the people who only want to drink and also accommodate families.
