We aim to make everyone feel welcome, whatever their preferences. Our seasonal menu includes vegetarian and vegan options and we cater for all dietary requirements. As parents, owners Hannah and Mo appreciate the importance of including children around the table and offer young guests a smaller portion of many of our main menu dishes.

We are open all day *Tuesday through to Sunday, and always have something to eat on offer but to avoid disappointment please note our key timings: Tuesday-Saturday: Breakfast is served from 9am - 11am, Lunch from 12 mid-day to 2.30pm, then Dinner (including our new Children’s Menu) from 5.30pm with last orders by 9pm. On Sundays we serve Brunch from 9am until 11am and then a Roast Lunch from 12.00 midday until last orders at 3pm. In between those times we offer our famous sausage rolls, scotch eggs, olives, pastries and cakes (subject to availability) as well as a full bar offering, non-alcoholic drinks, smoothies and hot drinks.

We hadn’t been to the cross keys at Sherborne before and we were greeted well and shown to our table and we enjoyed the food and drinks

Fantastic pub/ restaurant. The staff were really nice and friendly. Lovely ambiance and the design was cosy but updated. Food was excellent. We shall definitely go again

The manager/owner is lovely and came and spoke to us. Because my husband is in a wheelchair we had to sit next to the bar as the main dining room is up some stairs and it was very noisy. The food order was taken quickly but we waited half an hour for it to arrive and then the presentation was a little bland although the chips were scrummy. A large glass of wine wasn’t a full measure although the waitress said it was. So overall it wasn’t the best experience

After re visiting for a celebratory anniversary celebration and even though this was mentioned on the booking there was NO effort in regard to this celebration as part of the book or when we were at the restaurant. Unfortunately, the food was also rushed, even though we are looking for a relaxed dinner, mains were brought out when we hadn't finished the starters. The Sticky Toffee Pudding was over flooded with sauce Unfortunately, not a restaurant we will be looking to re-visit

The food was terrible! It seemed like they didn’t have a professional chef. We had a burger that suspect was cooked from frozen, chips that had no potato in them and the worst ketchup ever tasted! The ham, egg and chips consisted of 1 slice of wafer thin ham! We paid over £32 for ingredients that would have cost less than £5! Then the waitress tried to take our plate before we had finished! Maybe she was trying to do us a favour

There is a limited menu, which is not a bad thing. The food was well presented, well cooked and very good.

Very smart interior. Obliging staff who smiled. Our waitress was very courteous. Food was ok although the ham in the ham, egg and chips choice was thin and unappetising. Soup and burgers were excellent.
