The Cross House is an excellent pub. Always great service both for drinks and/or eating & the menu is varied and the food is of excellent quality.

One of the best lunches we have ever enjoyed. I had advised the Cross House that it was our anniversary ( 51st). THe Cross House is very local in the next village, and on this particular day we knew all the staff ( Dove, Ljuke, Toni and Sarah), and they knew us. There a couple minor treats to acknowledge our anniversary. We both chose the Megrin Sole, which was cooked to perfection with samphire ( and fries). A very good half litre of New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc complimented the fish. Just room for affogatos. Very, very happy diners.

The food was excellent. Nice to have a monthly menu. Waitress was friendly and very attentive. Made a joke about my wife breaking a glass. A very good evening

We had to change the time of the booking and it was no problem….in fact that was the attitude prevailing….great food excellent service and nothing was a problem…A very good restaurant!

This is our favourite eating place. It's a little pricey but it's worth it. The only thing I would want to improve is the puddings which I feel could do with having some more traditional offerings.
