A gem of a village pub serving pizzas, artisan burgers, pub classics with great pints and playgrounds. Set in the North Herts village of Weston. Acres of beer garden, kids play areas, families, muddy boots and dogs very welcome in our bar area. Our beautiful Pavilion restaurant is open for all day for reservations Mondays through to Sunday.
Our normal pub garden benches will be available as usual on a walk-in basis for food from our outside kitchen!
Our patio area is now available for bookings to guarantee your table outside, you can also order from our full restaurant menu!

Inside or outside (weather permitting) you will have a lovely time, if you do opt to eat outside you will just need to order at the bar.

We arrived and was shown to our table, we waited awhile before someone came to us, we ordered our drinks and food, it was really loud which we don't mind we're sat outside but there was a table of people they was swearing which was awful as there was many children about, the food came and my husband ordered prawn and chorizo pasta , when it arrived the portion for the price was disgusting ( £16 ) it didn't fill the bottom of the bowl, we had no cutlery so we asked for some but after waiting my husband had to get up and fetch our own as our food was getting cold, the experience was awful Won't be returning in a hurry. ☹️

All staff from kitchen to service were very hard working and courteous to customers which was a pleasure to see from a open kitchen. Considering it was a semi final football night and very busy from friends, couples to families all staff done a excellent job.

Think the food is very over priced for what you receive, the main dish was smaller thought it was a starter, other people on out table not happy with the food to much sauce in the dish, not as tasty as over powered by sauce. Drinks very over priced. Every 3 minutes asked about drinks if we needed anymore even though we had just been given a bottle of wine, started pouring and ask if we wanted more.

Amazing setting with great views and outdoor space but the staff create such a calming atmosphere which tops it all off!!

Food was a bit low value for the prices, it’s really just burger and chips or pizza there isn’t much more on the menu - great but pricy if that’s what you are expecting, I thought given the prices it would be a bit better quality
