A gem of a village pub serving pizzas, artisan burgers, pub classics with great pints and playgrounds. Set in the North Herts village of Weston. Acres of beer garden, kids play areas, families, muddy boots and dogs very welcome in our bar area. Our beautiful Pavilion restaurant is open for all day for reservations Mondays through to Sunday.
Our normal pub garden benches will be available as usual on a walk-in basis for food from our outside kitchen!
Our patio area is now available for bookings to guarantee your table outside, you can also order from our full restaurant menu!

Amazing staff. Really enjoyed the food. Alcohol free beer in draught. (Not drinking doesn't mean I don't like a beer) For me this was a great evening....

Good food great staff little disappointed with the sundae dessert but other desserts were lovely.

Evie served us and was excellent. It was a busy bank holiday and she made sure we received everything we needed quickly and with a smile on her face. Food was tasty too. Thanks Evie!

I wanted to meet a friend from Essex, we were coming from Bicester, so I dropped a pin in the middle and then did a search for places to eat nearby and found The Cricketers. Had a quick scout of their website and decided it looked like a really lovely place to head for lunch and i certainly wasn’t wrong. The food was delicious, the service was spot on, nothing was rushed, nothing was too much and they were all so friendly, plus there were plenty of them. There was a lovely atmosphere and we all really enjoyed meeting up here. Thank you for being so welcoming and allowing us to just eat, chill and chat until it was time to go.

The goats cheese pizza was good, as always. The rump steak indifferent, cooked okay (medium rare) but lacking flavour. The hot dog a little disappointing: Cumberland sausage good, tasteless and very very little pulled pork, salsa too little and lacking spice or piquancy. The bright, breezy and attentive waitresses made up for things but food not up to standard. New chef, new management??

Very accommodating on a group that grew throughout the lunch visit. Food was very good. A couple of issues flagged to the team which they dealt with superbly, very good customer service. Would definitely go back and recommend.

Inside or outside (weather permitting) you will have a lovely time, if you do opt to eat outside you will just need to order at the bar.

We arrived and was shown to our table, we waited awhile before someone came to us, we ordered our drinks and food, it was really loud which we don't mind we're sat outside but there was a table of people they was swearing which was awful as there was many children about, the food came and my husband ordered prawn and chorizo pasta , when it arrived the portion for the price was disgusting ( £16 ) it didn't fill the bottom of the bowl, we had no cutlery so we asked for some but after waiting my husband had to get up and fetch our own as our food was getting cold, the experience was awful Won't be returning in a hurry. ☹️
