Drawing inspiration from both the area’s Scottish heritage and the rugged, natural landscape, The Creag [kreyg] offers elevated comfort food with sweeping views of McLemore Cove and Pigeon Mountain. Along with favorites like the Hush Puppies, 8oz Filet, and Flat Iron Pork, The Creag serves craft cocktails and a curated collection of fine whiskeys and wines from around the world.

Lindsey was great as our server! Thoroughly enjoyed the hush puppy appetizer and our entrees (wrapped monkfish, filet without wedge, flat iron pork and chicken marsala). Banana pudding was so-so, but cheesecake was very good. Enjoyable Friday evening!

The blackened red fish was delicious. But please bring a chocolate dessert to the menu. Not mousse but a brownie or flourless torte or ice cream with hot fudge sauce.

Food was wayyy over salted. The sauce in the pasta was too salty, the salt seasoning on the ribeye and even more so on the filet was ridiculously salty. Desert was so so

Love McLemore and the Creag. Only improvement would be acoustics to cut down on noise!

The restaurant is elegant. We ate outside on the terrace at a high elevation. The view was beautiful. Our food and service was excellent. We drove down to the Lodge. The views are breathtaking. I visited the coffee shop inside which was also excellent. Sat outside on the deck, drinking my coffee, over looking the infinity pool and valley.

Sadly I wish I could give a zero star rating instead of the 1 star. I have been to many great restaurants in my life but The Creag at McLemore restaurant is simply a very poorly ran restaurant that is lacking professional management. My wife and I thought we were going to a very nice restaurant where guests were dressed properly per dress code but instead people were wearing hats and sweatshirts and appeared to be dressed more like a tailgate party than dinner at a great restaurant. The restaurant is beautiful on the inside but the overall ambience was very disappointing. My wife and I ordered a glass of wine which was delivered to our table and our server took our dinner order. Once our order was taken, our server did not return to our table for 40 minutes. My wife ordered a filet and I ordered a ribeye. It took over one hour to get our food. Both steaks were so salty we could not eat them. The service was very disappointing and the kitchen was very slow. We are staying at the cloudland resort and The Creag at McLemore was a big disappointment. New management or managers is probably what it will take to address all of the issues that needs to be addressed at this restaurant. However, I highly recommend that you go to the Auld Alliance restaurant at the hotel as it was wonderful and everything that The Creag at McLemore restaurant is lacking.

Our waitress was great. The food was solid! Waiting 25+ minutes for the first cocktail,that our waitress made, because the entire restaurant only had one bartender was an avoidable issue. The bartender was working as fast as she could, however, the restaurant lost in extra bar sales the cost of a 2nd bartender’s expense I am sure! That is a management issue that should be attended to asap! The folks sitting outside with us had to go to the bar themselves out of frustration. Great location by the way!

They need quality severs that know how to take care of their guest. The manager was nice.
