We ate at Crazy Lobster a year or two ago. It was fabulous. My husband loved the lobster meal he chose. Food was pricey but worth it for the one treat a year. This year- the that was not the case. They got rid of the the lobster meal he usually eats. He chose the surf and turf which was over $60. This meal at best would’ve been 30-35 anywhere else. My son chose the lobster and waffle meal. Over $30 for a tiny piece of lobster plus a waffle. The amount of money for the little amount of food you get is not worth it. High prices for the quality of food you get. We were highly disappointed and won’t be going back. I can’t see this place staying open long if it doesn’t lower the prices or give more food. My daughters kid meal was probably more in line with the amount and price of her fish and fries. Save your money and go somewhere else.

The inside of the restaurant was completely empty during the height of dinner. Reservations would only allow outdoor seating. Very strange vibe when the restaurant next door had long waits and every table full. Food was good but maybe a bit pricey for the quality. That might be why they were pretty empty.

A good restaurant for the Sandestin resort area. Our waiter Travis was very professional and graciously walked us through our dining experience. Restaurant has a beautiful view of the bay, so dining at sunset created a romantic atmosphere that truly enhanced our dining experience. Seafood options were fresh and tasty. Good wine and cocktails options. We will be back.

We really enjoyed our diner. We went on a night that the Baytowne Wharf had a fireworks show so parking was tough. I am handicapped and ended up paying for valet parking so I wouldn’t have to walk that far. As far as the restaurant loved it. The staff was so nice, food was excellent and the choice of cocktails was as hard to decide on than the food menu.

Our experience reminded us of dining in a foreign country - the waiter gave us our food and didn’t come back forever. This would have been fine except we spilled some water and were left cleaning it up ourselves AND one of our party was served crabs without any tools to clean them and we didn’t see our waiter again to ask for them. The food was beautiful, though.

Our waitress was so nice, but the experience as a whole was just okay. Bugs swarm the minute food is brought to the table, the fans stay on low so they literally do nothing. The service is very slow, my crab legs were served cold, my brother had a hair in his food, and overall it was just an unpleasant experience. The hostess was quite unpleasant and rude, the Manager was a bit dismissive and our poor waitress had to apologize on their behalf. It was a waste of money. We will not be back.

Horrible experience. We used to love this place! Apparently, it is under new management but they have not updated their websites or any social media pages so we couldn’t wait to return for the wonderful steamed seafood. We always dine here while in Destin. We made a reservation to dine at the end of the night following Baytowne fun with the kids. Upon being seated we were informed that the food would be slow because of a large party and then learned that the menu is completely different. The dishes that we went for are no longer offered. They don’t even offer lobster other than on a sandwich or in ravioli. Take it off your website and update your info! This was our last meal of the trip. What a disappointment. We had finished an evening at Baytown and were hungry and tired so we decided to try the new menu. The food was way overpriced and subpar. Gumbo tasted like it was days old and reheated, calamari was dry with no flavor. We asked for marinara or some sort of dipping sauce and never received it. Service was slow and awful. We had one entree, a bowl of gumbo since they did not offer the meal that we went for, two kids menu items of buttered noodles, and calamari. The bill was nearly $200– with no adult beverages. I rarely ever take the time to post reviews, especially bad ones… but experience upset us. They ruined a once wonderful restaurant!!! What a shame!

We sat on the patio and it was very pleasant. The crab boil is highly recommend as was the caramelized sea scallops! Dessert…. Get the peaches n crème!

We were the only ones there at the time and ittook over an hour to get food. People coming in after us were served before us. Some of the food was undercooked. Took forever to get it back and it was well done. . 5 small grilled shrimp were cold and just needed heated and that took 30 minutes. They added an entree to our bill that wasn’t ours. Doubtful we will return. There was an excuse for everything.
