    It was an excellent experience as soon as we walked in the door, and we were greeted by Lori!! Our waiter, David, was outstanding. We appreciated his attention to detail as we were first time guests. We look forward to dining at the Cranbury Inn sometime in the future.

    Very quaint restaurant in a historic town. The food was good, but the service was lacking due to inadequate staffing. They are seeking to hire and I wish them all the best with that.

    Outstanding menu choices for vegetarians. The eggplant lasagna was delectable! My dining companion found his turkey platter to be quite tender. Absolutely loved the bread pudding desert!

    While cleaning a nearby table the wait staff spilled cola on the back of one of my guest. No apologies just kept scurrying about her business. The table was in the middle of where all the waitstaff had to walk Continuously bumping into two of my guest. One actually changed her seat and the staff managed to keep bumping into her. Again not once did a staff member say excuse me or I'm sorry. Just kept bumping both ladies while we were trying to eat. Twice when I went up for food I had to ask for plates. Half of the trays were empty and what was there was cold. Definitely not a great experience nor a good value.

    The menu is long and varied and the food is very good. I like the colonial style rooms. The bar area is lively, the dining room quiet. Service in the bar area was on the slow side, as food was slow coming out of the kitchen, and our waitress also mixed drinks behind the bar. It needs a dedicated bartender to relieve food servers from this duty. I’ll try the dining room next time to see if there is an improvement.
