Enjoy a selection of tempting sandwiches, savouries, farmhouse scones, and mini desserts, all washed down with your choice of freshly brewed tea, coffee or bubbles (additional cost). Price from £30pp Thu-Fri and from £35pp Sat-Sun Children's Afternoon Tea also available at £13.50pp Thu-Sun PLEASE NOTE: Full payment to be made at the restaurant. We require at least 48 hours notice of any dietary/allergy requirements and discretional gratuity will automatically be added to your bill.

Celebratory afternoon tea. Food was delicious, table & setting well placed. Very let down by service. Initial drink ordered and arrived. Then we did not see staff! Had to go up and request tea , which at an afternoon tea is incredibly strange. Had to go back and remind/check progress. By which time, scones were cold!! Had to go up and ask for tea refill and for bill at the end. Very poor service,especially at this price point!!

We had 9 adults and 2 children, one guest however was slightly late, and although orders for drinks were taken quite quickly, we were then ignored for food orders. Eventually we had to find a waitress to take orders. No one ordered starters. 3 of the food orders were for small plates BUT we asked for these to be taken as main courses and delivered at the same time. Unfortunately the small plate orders were delivered first, and main course not delivered until much later, which meant that some guests had finished their food long before the others were fed. Most guests waited 1 and a half hours before they received their food. The only time the waitress was fast was to bring the bill, BEFORE the sweet course was even provided. This service to me was UNACCEPTABLE. and must be sorted. Also when taking orders the waitress stood at the end of the table, with the guests having to shout their orders, instead of the waitress moving between the diners. Very disappointing, especially as some of the guests have travelled for hundreds (and in 3 cases thousands) of miles. The food itself was fine.

I love Tewinbury Farm, the location and the atmosphere. I’ve dined at the Cowshed previously with a team event, which was great so had high hopes Unfortunately service was below par. Our food took over an hour to get the table - it was pre ordered afternoon tea. We had two little ones with us who were begging quite hungry and when I followed up with the staff, I was met with a little bit of attitude which was disappointing. Even then, I still wasn’t given an update on the whereabouts of the food. I also had to chase for the bill and a take away box. I’m sure not all experiences are like this, and potentially a one off, but nonetheless still disappointing.

Located in a lovely hotel, this restaurant offers a good choice of meals, in a relaxed environment.

Great venue, helpful staff and great food but downfall was the portions were very small. Came home hungry

This is our 4th visit however it wasn't as good as the past. Friendly service on a quiet day, however when the food was served it was just placed down and the waitress walked away without explaining any of the food- in the past when I've been and in other establishments staff normally explain to point out what is what, as we then had to try match the menu to each food iten. The food was tasty however the sandwiches bread was a bit hard/stale instead of fresh. This was my first visit with my baby and there was no changing facility I could see so had to change my baby on the floor of the toilet cubicle. I would still return but hoping the next visit will have improved.

We both ordered the burger so can’t speak for any of the other dishes but the burger was awful. The meat was edible but had a very unpleasant gristly texture. My fussy friend wouldn’t eat hers and when they came to remove her plate full of food the waiter didn’t say anything. They also took our starter away before we had finished. The actual restaurant is nicely decorated and furnished. It’s a shame the food and service was pretty poor.

Food was ok, sandwiches didn't feel very fresh, selection of teas and drinks were good. The service wasn't great drinks were put down on the end of the table for us to pass up to who they belonged to, empty glasses and teapots were left on the take cluttering the table making it cramped so we had to ask for a couple of pots to be cleared which by the look of the waitresses face seemed too much like hard work.

nice food, service a bit slow. Steak not medium-rare (more medium). Very tasty food.
