Situated at the heart of Tapnell Farm in a converted Swiss barn, The Cow champions the finest home-grown and locally sourced produce and is renowned for its delicious award-winning burgers - including gluten free, vegetarian and vegan choices.

You can choose whether to eat in (booking essential) or eat outside on the terrace.

What a great evening, great atmosphere, friendly staff and great food. Gave the chef carte blanche to cook my steak as he recommended and it's couldn't have been better. Will definitely return!

We all had a great meal recently for my sons 21st , the food was fantastic, the staff were absolutely brilliant and made our evening , Thank you all at the cow for your hard work. Justine and all family and friends, 😁😋

Great food. Caters well for coeliac diets. Great to have outdoor games for kids to play while we waited for food. Will definitely return next time we’re on the island.

Spacious, light and airy. Fun decor. Friendly welcoming staff. Burgers delicious - had sample platter and Louisiana chicken. Cajun slaw tasty. Bit heavy on the chips - would have liked bit salad on plate instead of so many chips. A little pricier than other burger specialists we enjoy at home in Brighton but would certainly recommend.

the burgers are tasty as naked, not sure paying 4£ extra for a classic to get one salad leaf , a tiny gherkin and strange yellow mustard sauce (called burger sauce?) is worth it
