Christmas Eve has been a beautiful tradition at The Courthouse for decades now, 2024 will be even more special, as we serve our final Christmas Eve event. More than any other year I want to create a magical and memorable evening for you & your family. Commencing at 5:00pm for drinks & canapés in the garden (entry via the garden gates) you will be met by beautiful carolers & Santa may even pay us a visit! Sadly, this iconic restaurant is closing. We planned our Christmas function because, being a local, I wanted to test the culinary expertise of the chefs. I was expecting more of the food. The location is magnificent and the restaurant ambience was superb. The service was very good but the food was average at best and overpriced. We had a lovely afternoon and thank the staff for looking after us.

Such a tragedy that this amazing place is closing. Their seafood dishes are to die for!! Lovely cocktails, good wine, great food with wonderful view over the ocean and nostalgic setting in an old courtroom.

The food & service here is very good & we will miss this lovely restaurant when it closes at the end of the year. Everyone would love to know why their lease is not being renewed & what will happen to this heritage listed building!

Food and service was always great the staff was friendly the noise was a bit loud especially if you can't hear properly , we started coming to the courthouse when it was called beaches at Cleveland, sad it is closing down it will be missed by a lot of people.

The food and ambience of the Courthouse is really lovely. It is such a sad time that this restaurant will not be in business in 2025.

We had an excellent meal, absolutely delicious and outstanding, the service was excellent, I would highly recommend this restaurant.
