Unfortunately just as we arrived there was a power cut. This made things very difficult for the staff, but they coped fantastically. Power was totally off so it effected the kitchen, tills etc. We were lucky to still have the carvery, which was excellent. We will be back and have already booked for Christmas Day.

My mum and I had a lovely sunday carvery here, we both had the small plate and left completely full up. It is exceptional value for money and the staff are all lovely too.

Excellent quality breakfast, cooked perfectly. Lovely clean restaurant. Cereal, fruit cocktail, yoghurt and toast with pastries. Lovely juice and alternative oat milk. Nothing was too much trouble. Fabulous service. We will be back.

A lovely place to eat and VFM quality food. The delightful and attentive Daisy served us and made us feel welcome.

We had a great meal last night the waitress was fantastic and looked after us really well. There was a wait on food but she informed us and treated us to some bread and butter. The food was really tasty and great value.We will definitely come back again.

We booked for 3 at 18:30 and arrived on time and were seated promptly . Drinks were ordered and we were then informed that there was 45 minute delay for food orders due to a few large tables. I can’t see how that makes much difference. Table for 10 or 2 for 3 and 1 for 4.. So we only ordered mains and after about 45 mins to an hour our food arrived. We ordered 2 chicken schnitzel one with garlics butter and one without but they both turned up with garlic butter already spread over them. After the mains we asked for the dessert menu but they seemed to forget about us and eventually the server appeared with the menu but by this point we had had enough so we paid and left. I gave been coming here for many years but you just can guarantee what the food and service will be like from one visit to the next .

We missed the carvery by half an hour and so had to chose from the main menu None of the food was freshly cooked, service was extremely slow Will not return
