    Nice sociable to meet up with family. Well looked after & HH pizza & wine offer good value - sweets wonderful too so compliments to the chef.

    Service from entering was very good , food was lovely really hot which was excellent. Lively atmosphere after meal we then had drinks at the outside seating are great ambience and very good value

    The food was delicious, and we did not have to wait too long. There was a live act, which was great but very loud, so it was difficult to have a conversation. Still it was a good night out.

    Booked for my son's graduation, so the place was very busy with like-minded families. The service was very efficient, the staff friendly & polite but the best part was the food, which was absolutely gorgeous! Would highly recomend The Cornerhouse. Thank-you :)

    Nice food. The salt and pepper ribs were very fatty, but all our other food was lovely and plentiful. Was a bit loud with a singer on which I would’ve expected to be a little quieter than it was for a restaurant

    Food was amazing, do recommend the fillet steak and the salt and pepper chicken small plate. Pasta Al forno is basically a lasagne it was also lovely. The only thing I could comment on really is the service from the older gentleman, we waited about 15 mins for our drinks before we realised nobody's making them (the bartenders were stocking so clearly the check hadn't come through and it wasn't busy at all). We asked about our drinks and the manager promptly got them sorted for us quoting a technical error. Then when the same waiter brought out our food we did have to ask for the extra peppercorn sauce and he seemed confused, even though we did order it and he'd read thr order back to us. We then realised he may have forgotten to ring both our drinks and the sauce through the till. Not a big issue at all to be honest, the food really was wonderful and the service from the manager running the shift was lovely (didn't catch his name, but he's definitely a great asset to the restaurant). Nice ambiance for a celebration, and the cocktail deals are fab 👌

    Did not get table requested even though it was empty all time there. Error in order being processed. Long wait. Waiter over attentive. No coffee available
