Established at the top of Portland's Old Port since 2009, The Corner Room offers guests a convival & socialable atmosphere with exceptional service. A gathering spot where friends & families can share a snack or a meal. Enjoy seating at the taps, antipasti bar, or table service -all with views of the open kitchen.
Head Chef Greg Wilson & Sous Chef Jason Macguire create staple dishes using local & Italian ingrediants with authentic techniques. The menu is pleasingly varied. Delight in the Bruschetta, Verduras, Procsciutto & Greens Pizza or Fettucini Bolognese to name a few - all served with a well rounded wine, spirit, & beer selection. Founded By Chef/Owner Harding Lee Smith, The Corner Room, is part of "The Rooms" Restaurant Group.
Parties of 5 or more & guests with any questions are asked to call (207) 879 4747 during regular buisness hours & we will be happy to assist you. Please note that tables will be held for 10 minutes after reservation time.

We love the Corner Room - always a great dining experience all around. Food is amazing and the service was spot-on.

Our meal was excellent and the service was just as excellent. Our server (I believe his name was Jeremy) helped me pick a new wine to try and navigate the menu for both dietary restrictions and options. He was super friendly and the meal was delicious. We will definitely go there again when we are next in Portland, and that’s saying something given how many great restaurants there are in Portland!

We had a reservation for 7:30 and were seated at 7:45. The staff were pleasant, but seemed rushed and stressed. The food was good and we did get some complimentary garlic bread for the delay. Way too noisy. It’s a small space and loud music isn’t necessary. We would go back just not on a busy Friday night.

Great Cioppino and very nice prosciutto. Service was good when they came but waited a long time between visits.

We were promptly greeted and seated. Staff were very friendly and efficient. The food was delicious and portions generous. My serving of wine was larger than typical. Overall, a good value for an urban restaurant.

Great food and service. Waiter made good recommendations and we were not disappointed. The focaccia is a must.

The food at The Corner Room is amazing! So fresh…so tasty….so delicious! I had their evening special with eggplant, sausage and cheese over penne. My partner had spaghetti and meatballs. I can’t wait to eat my leftovers today. Service superb.

Food is amazing and service is amazing . We went for our anniversary and they gave us champagne on the house. Not to expensive and we'll worth it

First time we have gone here in years! Meet our daughter for a dinner for 3 before a show. All the food was awesome and very reasonably priced. I think we found a new Italian restaurant to put in our rotation as they also had plenty of great gluten free options for my wife. Thanks for a great start to our night
