When we arrived we were had a very friendly greeting and were shown to our table. The service was of the highest order and was the food. The menu is varied to sll tastes and the prices are very competitive Max was really helpful in helping us choose our food and wine. Certainly will be returning to the Cornelian. Well done we need a good restaurant such as yours in the area.

What a lovely place. It felt really special without the price tag. The food was excellent and so was the service. Thank you Max for looking after us.

We had a great first visit . Service by lovely staff . Couple of bits on the menu were unavailable which was the only downside. We will definitely return and recommend

Cornelian is just what Staines has been waiting for - it offers a broad menu with something for everyone and with a great variety of different flavour options. Excellent dishes, high quality cooking with great flavours and presentation - good range of drinks too - we'll be back!

Visited for lunch party of four on August 29th. The butterfly prawns and salt and pepper squid starters were delicious and pretty on the plate. We each all enjoyed our main course selection of calves liver, fish and chips and halloumi salad. Good portion size and again well plated. The desserts of chocolate orange Tarte, carrot cake and poached peaches were absolutely yummy. Cannot fault the food and everthing seasoned well. Our waiter was relaxed and friendly and knew the menu. He also was very accommodating to our request to have the carrot cake warmed (high maintenance friend 😂). We liked that the restaurant is dog friendly and Milo enjoyed his water and sausage (not on the menu 😉). We would definitely be returning and as locals welcomed this new restaurant. Only tip...check glasses and clean. Thank you Cornelian .. we will be back.

Started with cocktails which were delicious as the restaurant filled with diners. We had the short ribs from the specials menu and could not fault the taste or presentation. Staff were attentive but not overbearing and service was prompt and efficient. Will definitely be back, well done to all

Recently opened restaurant, so pretty quiet on a Saturday night. Food was good & nice wine. Didn't have any duck salad starters left, but disappointing as only 2 other tables on there at the time. But sure it's just teething problems. Yasmin & Luis were very attentive and great customer service. We are local so will definitely be back.

Steak and wagyu burger were cooked to perfection. Service was excellent. How lovely to have a great independent restaurant in Staines upon Thames.
