Lovely food and friendly service - maybe more tables in the shade would be good. The noise where we sat was really bad but it was coming from the neighbouring shops/cafés, so not the Clam's fault. We'd actually come out for the day to escape a very noisy (loud music) party next door at home but out of the frying pan into the fire!. We are classical musicians so find thrash metal and heavy rock a bit horrible. The food made up for it though - and would come back if in the area.

Very lovely lunch by the beach. Great food and quality. Good wine list and cocktail list.

We had the crab platter to share with sides of bread and hispi cabbage - absolutely delicious! Service was amazing and all the staff were super-friendly and accommodating

Excellent Skate Wings, really generous portions accompanied by salty jacket potatoes and salad. The cocktails went down well and the Viognier was really good. One of the party was a vegetarian and had to point out that her dish was not acceptable and was not up to scratch. Otherwise a really good evening plus a doggy bag for the excess fish which went down a treat with our Tiger (the cat).

Me and my girlfriend booked here to eat for her birthday and we have no complaints whatsoever! The service was incredible and our waiter was very friendly. The staff all were very lovely and accommodating and the food was excellent. We had bread for starters which was incredible. I had a steak and my girlfriend had the sea food platter and we sat by the window upstairs which I would recommend! The view is just amazing. Overall we had an amazing experience and would 100% recommend!

Absolutely wonderful place to visit, the fish platter was awesome, fresh tasty highly recommended, the service was excellent, ambience was also excellent, I cannot fault it in any way, my only criticism is that it is expensive but you get what you pay for

Lobster overcooked and rubbery. When mentioned to waitress, just got an "oh sorry about that" response. Very poor for the top dollar price of £70. Rest of meal was OK as were the other meals for the rest of our party. However, I would not say any of the food was of standout quality to justify the price tag.
