There were aspects that were nice. However wasn’t like the previous times we had been and left us feeling disappointed.

Appreciate we sat outside so inside may have been better. Thus suggest don’t sit outside as right by people walking by and a nice view of the toilets and waft of weed passing by. Food was good but boy do you pay for it, certainly on the expensive side without having the ambience in my opinion of what was expected

Most friendly, centrally located just below the Promenade. Yummy fresh seafood, very nice atmosphere. Service just a little slow, but very friendly and professional. Really enjoyed the dinner with a view.

We reserved a table stating it was our wedding anniversary. When we arrived we were seated upstairs. It was quiet until a party of 7 people arrived. And were seated very close to us. Starters were good lobster roll and scallops. Mains were not as well presented. Mussels were gritty as was the salad that came with the lobster thermidor. We appeared to be forgotten about by our server. Very pricey for what it was. Will not be returning.

Initially was not the best greeting we recieved at the restaurant but it wasn't the worst. In general we felt the food was overrated and overpriced. One of our party had the shellfish platter for one, and it was served not how it was described on the menu (missing items and replaced with cheaper) - we were not told of this change. The scotch egg was the size of an appetizer and not a starter size, but the flavour was nice. The Habanero prawns were served cold (3 small ones) in a cold tomato sauce which was odd. The toilets have a lot to be desired, these really should be checked more regular as it isn't pleasant. Lastly the puddings, the cookie sundae was two scoops of ice cream on top of a broken cookie - no sauce and very basic for £13. The cheesecake lacked flavour. Sorry for the negative review but overall was not value for money!

Great service and flexibility on the booking (from Ruby) - always loved this restaurant and will always come back, however the prices seem to have shot up. Therefore I give it 'fair value' ... Quality of the food is still great though.

Amazing seafood platter! Far too much for the two of us but we loved it as always! Well worth the trip from Norwich to Brighton specially to have this fantastic food. I can’t find anywhere else that this seafood platter compares to in the UK. Amazing restaurant, fabulous staff and outstanding food! We’ll be back again as soon as we can! Thank you Copper Clam!

We were stuck in traffic and rang to tell them we would be late and the staff were very understanding and accommodating. When we arrived it was the same, in fact the staff were helpful and nice despite being very busy. The busyness made service a bit slow, and for the price we thought the environment of the terrace was underwhelming, but we all enjoyed everything we ordered and it seemed like our fellow diners were the same. The location is great too. Very good.

Lovely, lovely evening! One of the nicest steak tartares I've had, a delicious plat de fruit de mere, and Lily and Ruby gave us great service. Thank you, guys!
