We are a chef-owned restaurant that explores American and global flavors. Expect an awesome dinner of sharing plates, incredible cocktails, an award winning wine list and rockin' tunes! A mural wall by graffiti artist iSurge, lush tropical greenery and an herb garden helps set the mood on our outdoor patio. Recipients of consecutive Wine Spectator Awards of Excellence since opening for 10 years straight, and a DiRona Fine Dining Award recipient since 2016.
The menu changes slightly with every season, and the wine, sake, and beer list is always evolving and growing.
The Cook and The Cork does not want to be considered fine-dining, but we take food and drink seriously. Our goal is to have all our guests be a part of the fun, and to share the love we have for the restaurant, food, and staff.     The Cook and The Cork is actually the spin-off of Parkland Chef Catering. For fifteen years, we've been South Florida's premier full service catering company. We take our show on the road to cater for social and corporate clients from Miami to Palm Beach.

Our outdoor patio is a cool place for a casual, kicked-back themed event. We can accommodate up to 80 guests throughout the facility.     We loved the food. The menu is narrow but there was plenty to choose from. We love to taste each other's food and then rate the food in each course. There were no duds here! We had read on line that the portions were too small but we had no issue with the portion size. There is an issue with the cost relative to the size but we are finding that issue everywhere we go. The ambiance was cozy and intimate but we had the unfortunate experience of being seated next to a very loud party. Service was very efficient but cold. Not a good feeling.

    I’ve been here before. However this visit is medoicre. The service was horrible. The food was super late. They brought the dessert out before the entree. I asked the server to bring me a straw 4 times. The food was cold but at that point i took it to go. Not coming back.

    The service was terrible, we were ignored until I flagged down the hostess down and the owner came to our table. Menu items were lackingg on variety as well as quantity.

    we had a really nice dinner. service was great. food was good. only suggestion i can make is to make the place a little brighter. very dark …. needs some design updating.

    The food is excellent. Service is so-so and very noisy if you eat inside. It's slightly pricy. Know before you go.

    Our dining experience at The Cook and the Cork was outstanding! We were a party of 6 with reservations for inside dining. We were greeted warmly the moment we entered. The ambience was was upscale and inviting. Our server, David, was amazing. He patiently answered our many questions regarding the menu, which offered a variety of interesting options to choose from. As appetizers we has the smoked fish dip, mushrooms in parchment, and roasted cauliflower. The mushrooms were so fabulous that we had to order the rosemary focaccia to dip into the sauce. Both of the individuals who ordered the Korean Fried Chicken raved about it. The steak melted in your mouth and the pasta for the Pappardelle Bolognese was perfect! The PEI mussels were amazing and I would recommend ordering an extra loaf of the rosemary focaccia so you can enjoy the broth. The special was Swordfish and it was delicious. For dessert we ordered a peanut butter bread pudding with raspberry sauce, which was also very good. I highly recommend the espresso martini as an after dinner drink. Prices were not out of line for the quality and preparation of the food. A shout out to David, our exceptional server, who followed us out to the parking lot because we forgot our unfinished meal which he boxed for us and who parted with a bag full of wine corks from their collection for my cork crafts! We will definitely be back...this is a dining gem!

    Excellent gourmet cuisine as always. Loved the pork shank and salmon w/shrimp dishes. The Crème brûlée is fantastic as was the apple strudel with vanilla ice cream. We were there for the Ft Lauderdale Dine says deal and it’s a good deal. Also had the parchment mushrooms appetizer which basically is steamed mushrooms so they come out sautéed in liquid. Really good if you are a mushroom fan. Only $10 with the Dine Deal add on. They really need to invest in some sound deadening material as it’s loud and everyone is shouting because of it. Also prepare to wait a bit longer than you might be used to for your entrees. It’s not ridiculous but it always seems to be a bit of a wait. Great restaurant though.
